What is our truth?

‍

We think our truth is what we believe.

‍

Or it is what we have experienced.

‍

Perhaps it is all about some great insight.

‍

When we look for our truth we can sometimes be sidetracked.

‍

For it can be confusing to know what is true for us.

‍

And everyone has a different truth.

‍

To find that truth we all take a unique path.

‍

Yet all these supposed truths are nothing compared to our real truth.

‍

We actually have a direct road to our truth.

‍

It is so simple we often overlook it.

‍

For even when we have a hard time to admit the truth to ourselves, the body always knows the truth.

‍

The body does not lie.

‍

Our body always knows the truth.

‍

Even when we choose to ignore it.

‍

For our truth is not found in the mind or in the millions of thoughts that go through it.

‍

What is absolutely true for us always shows us in the body.

‍

We can feel it, even when we don't want to.

‍

If our truth is sadness, then our body will cry.

‍

Or if our truth is joy, our body will smile or laugh.

‍

The truth is easily found in how our body feels and what our body does.

‍

It is the ultimate truth-teller.

‍

So if we really want to know the truth about something, regardless of what it is, we only have to tune into the body.

‍

Something so simple, yet for most of us it is something so hard.

‍

When we stop looking for the truth outside of ourselves, and start looking for it inside of ourselves, our search becomes easier and more clear.

‍

Searching for our truth is not something that has to take decades.

‍

We can find it so quickly by merely looking in the mirror and feeling what is going on inside.

‍

Not through our thoughts.

‍

Through how we feel in our body.

‍

It is that simple.

‍

And that hard.

‍

Can you feel the truth you are looking for inside your body?
