We know what home feels like.
The comfort, the safety that we feel there.
Home can be a joyful place.
For some, it can be a place filled with pain.
When we create our own home, we try to make it better.
Yet for some of us, no matter what we do, it still does not feel like home.
That safety we desire, the coziness and warmth we thirst for, feels so far away.
Others may come over and say "What a nice home you have."
We hear the words but we cannot feel it ourselves.
It's just a building with four walls to us.
Our home can feel so foreign, so distant, that we can't connect to it to the place we live.
And the feeling of home is not something that comes from the outside.
It comes from inside of us.
Until we find a true home inside our own hearts, we will never quite feel like we are home in any building.
Not matter how meek or how fancy the home is.
Luxury does not equal a home.
Only the feeling of being held gently in the comfort of a place that feel warm to us can feel like a home.
But that feeling is one that must come from inside of us before it can land on an external place.
Where we are whole.
And where we find the truest parts of ourselves.
When we find that special place, then we can make wherever we a home.
For we will create it from a still place inside of us.
From that place inside that we know is our sanctuary.
It is the home of our heart and our soul.
Beyond the four walls of any building.
Do you know what home feel like to you?
Can you find your home regardless of where you are?
