Grief is normal. The world has changed so much in such a short time.We are all waiting for things to go back to normal.

Yet there is no going back.

There is no way to make things as they were before.Somewhere, deep inside we know this.So we grieve. We grieve for the loss of a world we once knew.We grieve for a life we once had that is no more. Some people are grieving the loss of a loved one.Others are grieving the loss of a career or a business. We all are grieving.

So there is a collective grieving throughout the world.

This is normal. This is how it is.We should not ignore our grief nor should we suppress it.?Yet in the midst of the grief there is hope. There is hope because we have made it.We are still here.We are alive. Why did we make and others did not?It does not matter.

All that matters is that we are still here.

We can still do something. We can still create something new.We can still care about each other and learn to live in this new world. With new realizations. With new perspectives. With new ways of being.

One of the most apparent new perspectives we now have is how interdependent we all are.

For our health, for our happiness. For even the simple touch of another human being.Borders are now irrelevant. What we have emerged into is a new world that more connected than ever before. So let us be grateful for this new world.Even if it seems and different. It is our world.

And we can now ask ourselves, how shall we be different in this new world?
