2026/10/14-From awakening to Embodiment with Blaise Kennedy

[NEW EPISODE] From Awakening to Embodiment with Blaise Kennedy

EPISODE SUMMARY:

This week on The Conscious Consultant Hour, Sam welcomes Blaise Kennedy, teacher, guide, and creator of Developmental Architecture, a staged map of growth that weaves together awakening, nervous system capacity, trauma repair, and relational maturity into a single developmental process.

Blaise works at the intersection of embodied awareness, relational attunement, and spiritual awakening, supporting people who are spiritually curious, emotionally honest, and ready for change that shows up in daily life rather than only on the meditation cushion. His path into this work was shaped by a turning point at age twenty-four, when he entered recovery and began a serious journey of self-inquiry, healing, and integration that eventually became the body of teaching he offers today.

What distinguishes Blaise's approach is where he places his attention. Rather than chasing peak experiences, he focuses on recreating the conditions that allow insight to actually stabilize: safety, consistency, slow pacing, and genuine connection. People come to his work when they feel stuck in the gap between awareness and embodiment, when they have had the openings and read the books and done the practices, yet still find trauma and early conditioning limiting their relationships and their capacity to fully express who they are. Blaise's conviction, grounded in his own experience and years of guiding others, is that healing is not a solo project. Growth stabilizes faster in supportive, attuned connection than it ever does in isolation.

Together, Sam and Blaise explore the slower, truer work that follows the mountaintop. They discuss the difference between insight and embodiment, what the nervous system is actually asking for, how emotions are designed to move between people rather than be managed alone, and what it takes to build real relational safety in daily life. They also look at how awakening, healing, and manifestation can be understood as one path rather than three, and offer a simple map for getting unstuck without bypassing.

This episode is an invitation for anyone who has tasted awakening but longs for it to finally live in their relationships, their body, and their choices, to consider that the next chapter of growth may be less about reaching higher and more about letting what you already know take root in the whole of your human life.

Show Notes

Segment 1

Sam Liebowitz opens the episode by reading his blog post on how true community grows from heart-centered connection and shared healing experiences rather than location, heritage, or belief, then reflects on how his own ceremonial work revealed the kind of deep, soul-level belonging he had long sought, encouraging listeners to find their own like-hearted people. His guest, Blaise Kennedy, creator of Developmental Architecture, shares how recovery at 24 began his spiritual path, with radical honesty and learning to feel emotional pain becoming the foundation for later practices in non-duality and trauma healing, and how years of frontline foster care work deepened his capacity to serve others. Blaise closes the segment by describing his conviction that awakening, embodiment, and trauma repair must be integrated rather than used to compensate for one another, since the universe itself is always moving toward unity and each moment calls for the response that fits its level of life, whether comfort, space, or connection.

‍

Segment 2

Sam Liebowitz opens this second segment by asking Blaise Kennedy what his work looks like today, and Blaise shares his three core intentions: to help people know the truth of life experientially, to complete the unfinished process of human development (likening us to a building whose foundations and wiring have been neglected beneath our "top floor" adult selves), and to help restore connection both between people and between Earth and the wider universe. He explains that meditation alone often can't move the emotions we hold, because sadness, anger, and fear are unexpressed communication that needs a caring witness, so healing happens when contemplative presence is paired with an attuned, feeling community that offers "an audience" for what we carry, which Sam echoes by describing how we don't release pain but metabolize it until it becomes history rather than a controlling force. Blaise adds that metabolized pain becomes wisdom and the capacity to receive others (like holding a frustrated child with the knowledge of having been there), that personal healing is really collective healing, and that his groups practice by slowing down, sinking into the body, softening into feeling, and extending presence into the shared field, then exploring how our history shows up now and asking the body what it needs. The episode closes with Sam and Blaise agreeing that a space of profound honesty and mutual receiving is the natural human way of healing, and with Blaise inviting listeners to find his one-on-one work, group programs, free meditations, and YouTube content at BlaiseKennedy.com.

00:01:20.500 --> 00:01:25.510 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: True community comes from a connection of the heart.

00:01:26.990 --> 00:01:29.330 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: What defines our community?

00:01:29.790 --> 00:01:32.190 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Some think it is our location.

00:01:32.940 --> 00:01:35.789 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Others feel it is our heritage.

00:01:36.390 --> 00:01:39.780 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And some think it is about beliefs.

00:01:40.830 --> 00:01:45.789 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: While all of these things can play into what makes a community.

00:01:45.930 --> 00:01:50.470 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: There is still something most people have not considered.

00:01:51.360 --> 00:01:58.720 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: For people come together not because of what is in their veins or their head.

00:01:59.650 --> 00:02:04.280 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Community is formed around something much deeper.

00:02:04.890 --> 00:02:09.820 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And it often forms around something we didn't expect.

00:02:10.720 --> 00:02:13.540 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: For people connect through their hearts.

00:02:13.880 --> 00:02:15.489 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Not their minds.

00:02:16.130 --> 00:02:21.799 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: The strongest communities are formed through a shared experience.

00:02:22.990 --> 00:02:28.399 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: While lineage… And familial relations can play a part in it.

00:02:28.570 --> 00:02:32.349 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: They are only the soil in which something can grow.

00:02:32.980 --> 00:02:39.780 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Certainly, our beliefs and our physical proximity can also foster the creation of communities.

00:02:40.570 --> 00:02:52.249 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Yet when a group of people come together to heal, to grow, to evolve, that experience creates an even stronger bond.

00:02:54.040 --> 00:02:56.699 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: The desire to have a better life.

00:02:58.040 --> 00:03:08.569 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: To feel better in our bodies, and to feel safe with the people around us are some of the greatest factors in forming a community.

00:03:09.460 --> 00:03:18.419 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Sometimes, perhaps often. When a group of strangers come together for the sake of healing and finding wholeness.

00:03:18.520 --> 00:03:20.790 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Something special happens.

00:03:21.400 --> 00:03:24.329 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: They may have started off as strangers.

00:03:24.520 --> 00:03:35.360 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Yet when they leave, they feel a sense of connection and a bond of trust that surpasses many other types of connections.

00:03:35.900 --> 00:03:42.220 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: What started off as a group of strangers ended up being a tribe of brothers and sisters.

00:03:42.940 --> 00:03:47.539 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: That is the power of doing our deep inner healing work.

00:03:47.690 --> 00:03:48.810 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: together.

00:03:50.060 --> 00:03:55.920 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: The shared experience of releasing the energy of trauma and pain is a powerful one.

00:03:56.070 --> 00:04:01.940 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: One that surpasses many of the other types of connections we have in our society.

00:04:02.670 --> 00:04:09.170 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: An unexpected result of this type of connection is the level of trust that is built.

00:04:10.160 --> 00:04:21.269 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Trust not in the traditional sense, but trust that each person is doing their best to be a better version of themselves.

00:04:22.670 --> 00:04:27.839 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: To be honest about what triggers them, and what they feel.

00:04:29.030 --> 00:04:31.430 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Perhaps not all at once.

00:04:32.080 --> 00:04:35.330 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Perhaps not from just one experience.

00:04:35.980 --> 00:04:44.549 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Yet over time, The way we see each other showing up for themselves builds that trust.

00:04:47.240 --> 00:04:52.409 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And whether we are looking for it or not, we find a community.

00:04:52.990 --> 00:04:57.829 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: A community that grows individually and together.

00:04:58.790 --> 00:05:07.929 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Making space for people to truly be with one another without distraction or hidden agendas.

00:05:08.910 --> 00:05:11.599 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: That is what a real community.

00:05:11.810 --> 00:05:14.360 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: One that comes from the heart.

00:05:14.810 --> 00:05:16.169 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: is all about.

00:05:18.320 --> 00:05:23.369 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: So, do you have a community of like-hearted people around you?

00:05:24.180 --> 00:05:28.260 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Can you bring together or find the people who also?

00:05:28.810 --> 00:05:31.010 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Desire the same thing?

00:05:33.580 --> 00:05:40.260 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: I've spoken a bit about community on this show before, and

00:05:41.930 --> 00:05:44.590 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: I I keep coming back to it.

00:05:45.330 --> 00:05:51.380 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Because for me, it's such a special connection.

00:05:51.990 --> 00:05:58.599 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And it's one that, for years, I was looking for and trying to create.

00:05:59.280 --> 00:06:01.539 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And I didn't even know it.

00:06:01.900 --> 00:06:13.849 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: It's like… you know, just naturally, I would bring together groups of people around certain

00:06:14.050 --> 00:06:17.060 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Topics that were important to me.

00:06:17.690 --> 00:06:23.949 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And really try to To foster this interconnection of people.

00:06:27.030 --> 00:06:31.540 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And inevitably, you know, we'd come together for a while.

00:06:31.870 --> 00:06:46.410 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And then things would… people would just go their separate ways, and that's sort of the natural order of things, you know, we… like our heartbeat, we contract, we come together, and we come apart. We come together, and we come apart.

00:06:47.630 --> 00:06:53.349 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Until I started doing the ceremonial work that I do 12 years ago.

00:06:54.430 --> 00:07:00.390 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And they started showing up on pretty much a monthly basis for 2 straight years.

00:07:02.370 --> 00:07:06.399 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And… Doing my own work.

00:07:06.820 --> 00:07:10.019 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Being there with people who are doing their own work.

00:07:10.460 --> 00:07:12.690 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: to heal, to feel better.

00:07:14.690 --> 00:07:17.700 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: There was something about that connection.

00:07:19.180 --> 00:07:22.840 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: That was… not just unexpected.

00:07:23.470 --> 00:07:30.570 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: But it was like, this is what I'd been looking for my whole life, and had never truly experienced.

00:07:31.260 --> 00:07:36.740 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: So… When I finally had it, when I finally experienced it.

00:07:37.450 --> 00:07:50.820 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: I was like a fish in water. I was so happy. I would show up every month at the ceremonies, and it would be the highlight of my month.

00:07:54.590 --> 00:08:03.070 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And we would talk about community and, and, you know, we'd get together outside of ceremonies and then people started doing things like.

00:08:03.170 --> 00:08:17.329 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: co-housing, you know, someone had a house in the Queens that they were renting, and other people came in and lived with them. Other people started working together. I mean, just the…

00:08:17.440 --> 00:08:25.489 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: The tightness of the community and the way people showed up for each other, even outside of doing the work.

00:08:26.550 --> 00:08:31.210 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Was really something very beautiful, very meaningful for me.

00:08:35.059 --> 00:08:40.920 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And… You know, and then of course that community sort of

00:08:41.400 --> 00:08:46.629 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: fell apart in different ways, and then I found other communities doing ceremonial work.

00:08:49.680 --> 00:08:54.819 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: and And now I'm building my own community in a way.

00:08:57.690 --> 00:08:58.900 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And it just…

00:09:01.110 --> 00:09:12.339 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: You know, I I just remember my wife, like, when I used to talk about community years ago, and she wouldn't get it. And she's like, what do you mean community? What what what's the big deal of community and stuff?

00:09:13.500 --> 00:09:16.899 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And now, after 12 years of doing this work.

00:09:19.240 --> 00:09:22.129 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: She sees, like, the power of it.

00:09:22.880 --> 00:09:31.409 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: You know, how, like, you know, my wife being a therapist, after people come to a ceremony and they want more support in between, they're coming to see her for therapy.

00:09:31.690 --> 00:09:42.930 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: When somebody in the community, like one of our members, had a one-woman show on an off-Broadway stage, and a bunch of us came out to see it.

00:09:43.280 --> 00:09:51.580 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: It… it… It's when people truly feel connected to each other on a

00:09:52.050 --> 00:09:54.269 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: I'm gonna say on a soul level.

00:09:56.650 --> 00:10:07.870 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: You know that they're gonna show up for each other, you know they're gonna be there for each other, you know that no one is ever truly alone in whatever they're going through.

00:10:08.820 --> 00:10:10.959 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: It really creates something.

00:10:11.070 --> 00:10:12.840 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Very, very special.

00:10:14.270 --> 00:10:16.349 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And so I keep.

00:10:16.740 --> 00:10:19.109 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Writing about community.

00:10:21.880 --> 00:10:28.879 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Because especially Lately… I just find that…

00:10:29.900 --> 00:10:39.120 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: People feel so disconnected, you know, now that everything's like this hybrid virtual world that we all kind of feel.

00:10:39.490 --> 00:10:43.589 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: You know, I I don't know. I'm thirsting more sort of in-person connection.

00:10:43.960 --> 00:10:45.040 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: But,

00:10:46.550 --> 00:10:54.210 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: I think most people, not everyone, but most people are actually looking for community and they don't even realize it.

00:10:55.830 --> 00:11:04.080 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And so I keep talking about community and I keep I keep giving examples.

00:11:04.810 --> 00:11:10.170 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And they keep… Kind of reminding you to find your community.

00:11:11.220 --> 00:11:12.970 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And and sometimes

00:11:13.160 --> 00:11:21.899 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: You know, they're not the people who live close to us sometimes. Our community are people we've met online and they could be all over the world.

00:11:23.770 --> 00:11:28.270 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: But there is something special about being with a community in person.

00:11:28.970 --> 00:11:32.489 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Being able to feel their energy, give them a hug.

00:11:33.000 --> 00:11:34.530 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Hold their hand.

00:11:36.490 --> 00:11:41.249 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: and, and… There are all kinds of ways to find community.

00:11:41.470 --> 00:11:49.610 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: I mean, there's meetup groups, there's events happening all over the place, just look online and you can find it.

00:11:50.570 --> 00:11:54.049 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: You know, find that one thing for you.

00:11:54.520 --> 00:11:57.279 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: That really you.

00:11:57.500 --> 00:12:01.050 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And go out and find people who it also .

00:12:01.240 --> 00:12:03.799 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And see what kind of connection.

00:12:04.100 --> 00:12:07.010 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: That creates for you.

00:12:08.380 --> 00:12:19.730 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And it's wonderful to see, loyal listener and former host Jacinta on LinkedIn, listening in. Thank you, Jacinta, I'm glad you're here to join this show, I think you'll enjoy it.

00:13:01.340 --> 00:13:20.459 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Alright, now, it is my extreme pleasure to welcome to the show Blaise Kennedy, teacher, guide, and creator of Developmental Architecture, a staged map of growth that weaves together awakening, nervous system capacity, trauma repair.

00:13:20.460 --> 00:13:24.960 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And relational maturity into a single developmental process.

00:13:25.110 --> 00:13:44.489 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Blaise works at the intersection of embodied awareness, relational attunement, and spiritual awakening, supporting people who are spiritually curious, emotionally honest, and ready for change that shows up in daily life rather than only on the meditation cushion.

00:13:44.970 --> 00:14:02.040 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: His path into this work was shaped by a turning point at age 24, when he entered recovery and began a serious journey of self-inquiry, healing, and integration that eventually became the body of teaching he offers today.

00:14:02.270 --> 00:14:16.539 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: What distinguishes Blaise's approach is where he places his attention. Rather than chasing peak experiences, he focuses on recreating the conditions that allow insight to actually stabilize.

00:14:16.590 --> 00:14:24.370 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Safety, consistency, slow pacing, and genuine connection. See, connection, it's there.

00:14:24.370 --> 00:14:42.020 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: People come to his work when they feel stuck in the gap between awareness and embodiment, when they have had the openings and read the books and done the practices, yet still find trauma and early conditioning limiting their relationships and their capacity to fully express who they are.

00:14:42.180 --> 00:14:59.029 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Blaise's conviction, grounded in his own experience and years of guiding others, is that healing is not a solo project. Growth stabilizes faster in supportive, attuned connection than it ever does in isolation.

00:14:59.430 --> 00:15:02.310 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Welcome to the Conscious Consultant Hour Blaise.

00:15:03.020 --> 00:15:09.489 Blaise Kennedy: Happy to be here and happy to listen to you as this beautiful preamble. So much in common.

00:15:09.490 --> 00:15:28.980 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Yes, absolutely Blaise. And this is one of the reasons why I've been looking forward to having you on the show because I feel such a kinship to what you do and who you are. So I always like to start off with going over just a little bit of your background just to give some context for our audience.

00:15:28.980 --> 00:15:45.410 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: So your spiritual path, it sounds like, started, when you went into recovery. What happened around that? Like, what got you to finally say, enough is enough, I need to…

00:15:45.520 --> 00:15:47.310 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: do something different.

00:15:47.470 --> 00:15:53.169 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And and and what was the thing that got you to really open to this new kind of a path?

00:15:55.150 --> 00:15:58.229 Blaise Kennedy: Oh, I think it was a lot of the carrot and the stick.

00:15:58.480 --> 00:15:59.590 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Hmm.

00:16:02.040 --> 00:16:05.170 Blaise Kennedy: I found being a drug addict in a

00:16:05.430 --> 00:16:09.580 Blaise Kennedy: Avoider and all the other things that I was at the time, really boring.

00:16:09.700 --> 00:16:12.170 Blaise Kennedy: It's to paint yourself into a corner.

00:16:12.750 --> 00:16:18.720 Blaise Kennedy: In every way, and My, my world just got smaller and smaller and

00:16:18.890 --> 00:16:20.969 Blaise Kennedy: On some level, I just got bored.

00:16:22.750 --> 00:16:27.509 Blaise Kennedy: Another thing happened that is that I had a friend who

00:16:28.120 --> 00:16:31.940 Blaise Kennedy: Had a bunch of spiritual books on his bookshelf.

00:16:32.130 --> 00:16:32.570 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Hmm.

00:16:32.570 --> 00:16:37.299 Blaise Kennedy: And, like, power versus force, and he had, he was into the Kabbalah.

00:16:37.740 --> 00:16:44.549 Blaise Kennedy: And I remember picking up one night, picking up the books off his bookshelf, and just having this realization that I'd never…

00:16:44.660 --> 00:16:46.249 Blaise Kennedy: really thought deeply.

00:16:46.530 --> 00:16:48.050 Blaise Kennedy: about spirituality.

00:16:48.210 --> 00:16:48.770 Blaise Kennedy: And…

00:16:48.770 --> 00:16:49.210 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: room.

00:16:49.210 --> 00:16:53.009 Blaise Kennedy: For whatever reason, it just struck me that this was going to be.

00:16:53.370 --> 00:16:56.230 Blaise Kennedy: the thing that I was going to do, that…

00:16:56.350 --> 00:16:58.769 Blaise Kennedy: Drugs in my way of life was a dead end.

00:16:59.030 --> 00:16:59.470 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: I.

00:16:59.470 --> 00:17:00.830 Blaise Kennedy: I had exhausted that.

00:17:01.150 --> 00:17:08.630 Blaise Kennedy: And that I would move on. And that… seemed really clear. A lot of really difficult things had to happen between point A and

00:17:08.760 --> 00:17:10.559 Blaise Kennedy: The ability to realize that.

00:17:10.810 --> 00:17:15.089 Blaise Kennedy: and live that clarity. The other thing I would say is that I turned 24.

00:17:15.990 --> 00:17:25.809 Blaise Kennedy: And what happens in what the doctors say and the physiologists say is that when a young man turns 24, he regains his metacognition.

00:17:26.000 --> 00:17:40.530 Blaise Kennedy: This is lost developmentally for a long time, and you… and I… I did not have the ability to have a grand life strategy, to do something that felt true and meaningful for me. I was in many ways just sort of blown around in the wind.

00:17:41.260 --> 00:17:45.470 Blaise Kennedy: And so all of these things sort of coalesced. I remember going to treatment.

00:17:46.660 --> 00:17:52.679 Blaise Kennedy: feeling like I wasted my whole life. And I got there and I realized I had it really backwards.

00:17:52.820 --> 00:17:55.080 Blaise Kennedy: This was actually the beginning of my whole life.

00:17:55.710 --> 00:18:03.089 Blaise Kennedy: And I found that I enjoyed it. You know, there are many people there who were itching to get back to their lives, and they would say things like, this is not…

00:18:03.490 --> 00:18:07.980 Blaise Kennedy: This is not the real world, this is some strange simulation of.

00:18:07.980 --> 00:18:08.720 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Hmm…

00:18:08.720 --> 00:18:11.439 Blaise Kennedy: therapeutic simulation that I'm in, and I found

00:18:11.620 --> 00:18:18.300 Blaise Kennedy: It was like the opposite for me. I, I had, I thrived, I came to life.

00:18:18.970 --> 00:18:23.500 Blaise Kennedy: and I learned day by day, really coming from a low

00:18:23.610 --> 00:18:31.209 Blaise Kennedy: place. I was… I was thick, or dense, or numb. Coming from a low place, I started to learn just fundamental

00:18:31.410 --> 00:18:34.750 Blaise Kennedy: Life skills, and eventually… I could

00:18:35.340 --> 00:18:41.090 Blaise Kennedy: I became more sensitive and open to the practices that would really change my life.

00:18:41.880 --> 00:18:45.619 Blaise Kennedy: But it's been… Just a progressive journey about.

00:18:46.150 --> 00:18:50.840 Blaise Kennedy: Much as you share about is leaning into the experience of others, learning through

00:18:51.900 --> 00:18:55.730 Blaise Kennedy: Making mistakes and being held and holding others and

00:18:55.990 --> 00:19:00.579 Blaise Kennedy: trying to participate in this human life as fearlessly as I can.

00:19:02.010 --> 00:19:03.220 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Was there…

00:19:03.560 --> 00:19:11.220 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: one practice that was more impactful than the others, or was it just the whole combination of things that you did?

00:19:11.860 --> 00:19:15.549 Blaise Kennedy: Well, early on, it was the practice of being honest.

00:19:15.840 --> 00:19:21.020 Blaise Kennedy: I mean, it's still the practice of being honest, but early on, that was a revelation to me.

00:19:21.280 --> 00:19:22.000 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Hmm…

00:19:22.000 --> 00:19:26.180 Blaise Kennedy: I like to joke, there was a Seinfeld episode one time where

00:19:26.790 --> 00:19:33.960 Blaise Kennedy: George was… got the idea to do the opposite of everything he'd ever done, to do the opposite of his instincts.

00:19:34.220 --> 00:19:47.629 Blaise Kennedy: And he had this wild success, because he just did the opposite of everything he'd done before. And I… when I was in treatment, they… they really helped me see that I was not honest with myself, and I was not honest with anyone else. And I just had this…

00:19:47.700 --> 00:19:55.340 Blaise Kennedy: impulse, like, what if I did the opposite of that? What if I just tried to be honest? And I found it was, like, the key that unlocked

00:19:55.650 --> 00:20:02.650 Blaise Kennedy: every door. It seems so simple, like, you… if you're not honest with yourself, and you don't know what's going on for you.

00:20:02.810 --> 00:20:07.729 Blaise Kennedy: How could you possibly be successful in life, and.

00:20:07.730 --> 00:20:08.520 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Hmm.

00:20:09.410 --> 00:20:14.270 Blaise Kennedy: Moreover, I realized not only was I not being honest mentally with myself.

00:20:14.450 --> 00:20:18.250 Blaise Kennedy: But I was profoundly disconnected from My body?

00:20:18.530 --> 00:20:20.640 Blaise Kennedy: My heart, for my emotions.

00:20:21.450 --> 00:20:25.490 Blaise Kennedy: Everything that had occurred before this moment.

00:20:25.870 --> 00:20:37.589 Blaise Kennedy: And I remember one time, I had a… had a counselor say to me, I don't know what I said in therapy, in group therapy, this is what we did a lot of in treatment, he said, you know, that's really…

00:20:37.760 --> 00:20:42.019 Blaise Kennedy: Wonderful Blaise, but… Can you tell me how you feel right now?

00:20:42.870 --> 00:20:47.150 Blaise Kennedy: And I remember I couldn't answer his question. I did not know how I felt. And I thought.

00:20:47.280 --> 00:20:53.579 Blaise Kennedy: How could I not know how I feel? What a strange phenomenon! It never occurred to me before.

00:20:53.810 --> 00:21:07.479 Blaise Kennedy: And I was embarrassed, but moreover, I was fascinated. So I think the beginning of my journey was a fascination that I didn't know about myself, I wasn't looking, I wasn't trying to understand myself at all.

00:21:07.610 --> 00:21:14.880 Blaise Kennedy: And… Just to have some basic reorientation that I should know.

00:21:15.030 --> 00:21:19.459 Blaise Kennedy: What's happening for me and feeling for me. And as time went by.

00:21:19.710 --> 00:21:22.319 Blaise Kennedy: You know, the practices that really

00:21:22.470 --> 00:21:26.539 Blaise Kennedy: I would say, began my awakening were possible.

00:21:26.940 --> 00:21:35.530 Blaise Kennedy: Because I had this foundation in wanting to, no, I just wanted to be with the truth, whatever that was and before that my life was

00:21:35.650 --> 00:21:37.299 Blaise Kennedy: Pretty much the opposite.

00:21:37.440 --> 00:21:38.330 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Hmm…

00:21:38.510 --> 00:21:40.040 Blaise Kennedy: An avoidance of the truth.

00:21:40.340 --> 00:21:41.750 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Yeah, yeah.

00:21:42.780 --> 00:21:44.530 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Wow.

00:21:45.110 --> 00:21:51.040 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: So, for several years, you're in recovery. You're following this.

00:21:51.380 --> 00:21:55.680 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: I mean, eventually you kind of come out of it.

00:21:56.410 --> 00:22:01.520 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And, and the hard part, I guess, is then how do you adjust to life.

00:22:02.030 --> 00:22:07.669 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Now that you no longer had this crutch of drugs that you had before.

00:22:08.980 --> 00:22:13.470 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: You feel better, but now you got to deal with life. What was that like?

00:22:14.580 --> 00:22:16.130 Blaise Kennedy: Well, they…

00:22:16.760 --> 00:22:23.849 Blaise Kennedy: They make sure. They were very good to me. They made sure that I had a lot of experience dealing with life before I.

00:22:24.020 --> 00:22:24.950 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Okay.

00:22:24.950 --> 00:22:32.960 Blaise Kennedy: Food in the world. They… They put a lot of pressure on you. They incite discomfort and difficulty because.

00:22:34.090 --> 00:22:44.399 Blaise Kennedy: their opinion on addicts, which I think is really true, is that they are out of touch with reality. And if they don't force you to be in touch with reality.

00:22:44.620 --> 00:22:46.349 Blaise Kennedy: Then you're not going to do it.

00:22:46.660 --> 00:22:55.870 Blaise Kennedy: So, whereas therapy, and maybe much of the work that I do right now, is very oriented to taking care of a person.

00:22:57.040 --> 00:23:01.850 Blaise Kennedy: Creating, again, the conditions that allow the organism to make a change.

00:23:02.050 --> 00:23:08.179 Blaise Kennedy: And for addicts, they don't… They don't think that the system is going to self-correct.

00:23:08.560 --> 00:23:21.629 Blaise Kennedy: That's their methodology, and I think it's true. They had to apply a lot of pressure to me. So I… I feel like in the… I was there for 5 months, and beyond that, I was within recovery for a long time. I felt pretty comfortable

00:23:21.870 --> 00:23:29.280 Blaise Kennedy: dealing with Life as I got out of it, I felt very confident because they had.

00:23:29.630 --> 00:23:40.670 Blaise Kennedy: I had developed a pain tolerance. I mean, basically, my Achilles heel was emotional pain tolerance. I did not want to feel emotional pain.

00:23:41.160 --> 00:23:46.129 Blaise Kennedy: That's essentially what addiction was for me. It was a mechanism to support

00:23:46.330 --> 00:23:59.879 Blaise Kennedy: trauma avoidance, that basically a hyper avoidance of pain. And they were very good to me in helping me feel pain before I left, and I came out of there feeling very resilient and

00:24:00.510 --> 00:24:07.519 Blaise Kennedy: very… capable of facing life. I've somehow…

00:24:07.700 --> 00:24:24.239 Blaise Kennedy: it was extraordinary to me. It was like I… I turned on a part of myself which had been latent my whole life. I suddenly loved this. I loved feeling, I loved pain. I… it was very bizarre, or just a very rapid transformation to go to from someone who

00:24:24.240 --> 00:24:32.869 Blaise Kennedy: Was extremely pain avoidant and honesty avoidant to someone who was very seeking so I, I, I came out of this feeling very alive, very

00:24:33.510 --> 00:24:39.670 Blaise Kennedy: very courageous, very, I felt good about myself, and I…

00:24:39.940 --> 00:24:46.339 Blaise Kennedy: was not sure what I did next. To answer your question, what do you… what do you apply that to? I had no…

00:24:46.660 --> 00:24:49.679 Blaise Kennedy: Real sort of understanding of that I didn't have my path.

00:24:50.000 --> 00:24:52.360 Blaise Kennedy: I spent a lot of time meditating.

00:24:52.620 --> 00:24:55.169 Blaise Kennedy: And if you'd asked me what I was doing.

00:24:55.680 --> 00:24:57.310 Blaise Kennedy: I just sat there.

00:24:57.440 --> 00:24:58.339 Blaise Kennedy: Like, I…

00:24:58.700 --> 00:25:05.730 Blaise Kennedy: I didn't have a real intention, I didn't know where to put my focus, I didn't have any skills, I was just so happy.

00:25:06.170 --> 00:25:08.009 Blaise Kennedy: That I was sitting there.

00:25:08.350 --> 00:25:12.610 Blaise Kennedy: That I was finally doing something that meant something to me that was good for me. I was

00:25:12.770 --> 00:25:22.399 Blaise Kennedy: I was… I was riding a wave of having discipline and motivation and drive, and that took me quite a while. I felt very safe, I wasn't gonna relapse, I… and…

00:25:22.560 --> 00:25:28.419 Blaise Kennedy: I felt like all of that was behind me. And I waited, I kind of waited, when I was 2 years sober.

00:25:28.580 --> 00:25:32.619 Blaise Kennedy: Like a… Something to do, like teachings.

00:25:32.750 --> 00:25:34.210 Blaise Kennedy: Arrived in my life.

00:25:34.910 --> 00:25:39.090 Blaise Kennedy: And I didn't have to work very hard to make that happen, they just showed up.

00:25:39.310 --> 00:25:42.800 Blaise Kennedy: And… I just…

00:25:43.000 --> 00:25:49.500 Blaise Kennedy: got on the bus and just did what the people I I you know I had 2 teachers with very different

00:25:49.610 --> 00:25:51.720 Blaise Kennedy: methodologies that covered

00:25:51.980 --> 00:26:02.829 Blaise Kennedy: Basically, non-duality and trauma healing. Those are the two things that really fascinated me, and we're not particularly integrated, and are not particularly integrated now.

00:26:03.080 --> 00:26:06.639 Blaise Kennedy: If you go and see You know what?

00:26:07.030 --> 00:26:21.319 Blaise Kennedy: a non-dual teacher, they will give you their non-dual approach if you go see a trauma therapist, and there's not a lot of overlap. So I kind of went back and forth between these two methods and teachers, and both of them were really essential, and both of them broke me open.

00:26:21.540 --> 00:26:28.130 Blaise Kennedy: and I did what they told me to do. I I trusted the teachers that I met intuitively.

00:26:28.310 --> 00:26:29.280 Blaise Kennedy: I.

00:26:29.650 --> 00:26:40.929 Blaise Kennedy: Set myself to do everything they said, and this became the guiding frame. So I went from having recovery as a map, which I did very thoroughly, and then

00:26:41.150 --> 00:26:43.380 Blaise Kennedy: And then I was very fortunate that I met.

00:26:43.740 --> 00:26:48.730 Blaise Kennedy: Teachers that really worked for me and really helped set the course of my life.

00:26:49.040 --> 00:26:54.880 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: At what point… Did you say, like.

00:26:55.130 --> 00:27:00.719 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Okay, I've studied enough, I've done enough of my work, it's time now for me to help others.

00:27:02.010 --> 00:27:05.729 Blaise Kennedy: Well, I was… I had a progressive journey in that I…

00:27:06.260 --> 00:27:15.309 Blaise Kennedy: First, I would say that I haven't studied enough. I mean, I'm not on the same map as I used to be, but I'm a lifelong learner.

00:27:15.460 --> 00:27:24.610 Blaise Kennedy: I… I am very, very dedicated to the highest, and life has never shown me that I have

00:27:25.220 --> 00:27:30.500 Blaise Kennedy: a reason to stop learning. I just find reasons to continue learning every day.

00:27:30.650 --> 00:27:42.379 Blaise Kennedy: But, specific to when I've had the responsibility or capability to begin service, specifically, will help it happen very progressively, because in recovery, you start to sponsor people.

00:27:42.560 --> 00:27:47.939 Blaise Kennedy: And so I sponsored people, and then… A really big thing happened. I moved…

00:27:48.420 --> 00:27:53.949 Blaise Kennedy: to the city I live in now, which is Nelson, in British Columbia, Canada, with my wife.

00:27:54.270 --> 00:27:58.900 Blaise Kennedy: And… I got a job working in the foster care system.

00:27:59.010 --> 00:28:00.020 Blaise Kennedy: And…

00:28:00.390 --> 00:28:09.119 Blaise Kennedy: it's… if you don't know anything about the kind of work that I did, it's frontline work with kids in foster care homes who are

00:28:09.690 --> 00:28:22.360 Blaise Kennedy: I use the word radioactive. Like, you can't be around them. They are the most traumatized people in our civilization, in our culture. They can't be housed. There's teenagers who are…

00:28:22.490 --> 00:28:24.420 Blaise Kennedy: impossible to be around.

00:28:24.780 --> 00:28:25.140 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And.

00:28:25.140 --> 00:28:32.690 Blaise Kennedy: I just got stuck. They no training. They just put me in a house with these children and said, you know, take care of them. Good luck.

00:28:33.020 --> 00:28:33.850 Blaise Kennedy: And…

00:28:33.850 --> 00:28:34.880 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Oh, jeez.

00:28:34.880 --> 00:28:38.659 Blaise Kennedy: This was my service. And I had, you know, I had a very rough

00:28:39.400 --> 00:28:42.229 Blaise Kennedy: orientation. I'd come out of addiction. So

00:28:42.370 --> 00:28:47.339 Blaise Kennedy: I was interested in trauma, this was right in my wheelhouse, and I got a frontline position.

00:28:47.580 --> 00:28:49.040 Blaise Kennedy: Caring for children.

00:28:49.420 --> 00:29:01.079 Blaise Kennedy: I did that for many years, and I'm fostering a child, and so this is what I would say, is I have a path of graduated responsibility. I got enough responsibility, I have enough capacity to do that.

00:29:01.230 --> 00:29:04.040 Blaise Kennedy: Working with those kids was so hard.

00:29:04.290 --> 00:29:04.860 Blaise Kennedy: And…

00:29:04.860 --> 00:29:06.089 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: I bet, I bet.

00:29:06.090 --> 00:29:10.920 Blaise Kennedy: furthered me so much. And then, you know, it went on from there. I…

00:29:11.030 --> 00:29:14.540 Blaise Kennedy: I I got trained as a therapist. And then

00:29:14.640 --> 00:29:26.430 Blaise Kennedy: promptly after started doing my own teaching, doing my own thing, and started working with people. I've been doing that for about 6 years. So I… I firmly have oriented that

00:29:26.550 --> 00:29:33.230 Blaise Kennedy: My primary goal in this life is to develop capacity and wisdom, and that the service position

00:29:33.510 --> 00:29:36.650 Blaise Kennedy: Is always in accordance with the capacity and wisdom that I have.

00:29:39.720 --> 00:29:46.910 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: So do you consider yourself a teacher, a healer, a mystic, all of the above?

00:29:49.850 --> 00:29:59.670 Blaise Kennedy: Well, I'd like to say that our, especially in the Western world, there is a convergence of all of these streams of experience. I think if you were to take

00:29:59.870 --> 00:30:09.049 Blaise Kennedy: psychology or healing in the Western modality 100 years ago, and you look at how it's changed, I think the leading edge of it has changed because

00:30:09.600 --> 00:30:24.560 Blaise Kennedy: what you might call mindfulness, or presence, or embodiment, or meditation has been fused into it. Or maybe in your tradition, you would say, or in plant medicine circles, you would say, Indigenous wisdom has been merged into it. There's a great merging.

00:30:25.150 --> 00:30:33.800 Blaise Kennedy: of wisdom within this civilization, and I would like to say that I am a proponent of that, I'm a supporter of that, I am a product of that.

00:30:33.970 --> 00:30:40.750 Blaise Kennedy: And so I'm happy to describe myself in all of these ways, that I do have traditional trauma healing.

00:30:40.890 --> 00:30:44.479 Blaise Kennedy: skills, which are part of the Western canon, I guess, now.

00:30:44.860 --> 00:30:47.480 Blaise Kennedy: I also like to teach about

00:30:48.470 --> 00:30:57.160 Blaise Kennedy: meditation and awakening in its purest sense. And my… my… suggestion, my premise.

00:30:57.390 --> 00:31:00.759 Blaise Kennedy: Is that all of these methods are.

00:31:01.610 --> 00:31:06.300 Blaise Kennedy: facets of who we are. All of them are part of

00:31:06.730 --> 00:31:10.000 Blaise Kennedy: The reality of being a human being, and you can't…

00:31:10.640 --> 00:31:13.420 Blaise Kennedy: Hang your hat. You can't bet your…

00:31:13.820 --> 00:31:18.960 Blaise Kennedy: your life on any of them specifically, they will all merge with each other inevitably.

00:31:18.960 --> 00:31:19.390 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: believe.

00:31:19.390 --> 00:31:23.300 Blaise Kennedy: They are facets of who you are that for some reason different.

00:31:23.600 --> 00:31:39.370 Blaise Kennedy: you know, sectors of our world have focused on different elements, but essentially, over the course of my journey, my… my needs really have just expanded and broadened into all of the things that spirituality and healing and mysticism offer.

00:31:39.480 --> 00:31:55.590 Blaise Kennedy: I need all of them. And the further that I become skilled and have facility in them, then I offer these for others. And it's my goal to create programs, to create a teaching and learning environment and a community that has

00:31:55.870 --> 00:31:58.579 Blaise Kennedy: That has integrated these enough that

00:31:58.810 --> 00:32:08.320 Blaise Kennedy: people don't get stuck. I think the lack of integration is, for me, one of the main ways in which people get stuck. If they try to use tools.

00:32:08.480 --> 00:32:11.859 Blaise Kennedy: From one level of life or one facet of life.

00:32:12.430 --> 00:32:20.240 Blaise Kennedy: to compensate for gaps or misunderstanding or challenges in other areas. And it's understandable why people do that.

00:32:20.670 --> 00:32:25.460 Blaise Kennedy: But it doesn't work. I mean again, I think that each

00:32:26.220 --> 00:32:36.789 Blaise Kennedy: a facet of your life requires a response that's really attuned to the level that it is at. Like, if I say, make this really practical, if a child is crying.

00:32:37.080 --> 00:32:39.500 Blaise Kennedy: You wouldn't say… you know.

00:32:39.940 --> 00:32:41.860 Blaise Kennedy: There's no one here.

00:32:43.070 --> 00:32:44.170 Blaise Kennedy: to…

00:32:44.440 --> 00:32:55.670 Blaise Kennedy: To feel your tears, that's an inappropriate response, that's the wrong level of life, you would comfort them and so, knowing within each individual and within.

00:32:55.870 --> 00:33:14.049 Blaise Kennedy: our community. What is the right response? What level of life? Is this a moment in which comfort and compassion is needed? Is space needed? Is… Is more connection needed? Is having a toolkit, a body of wisdom that really integrates all of these fields, I think, is our best

00:33:14.430 --> 00:33:23.579 Blaise Kennedy: our best shot, because it matches, I think, what the universe is trying to do, which is the universe is trying to integrate. It is trying to merge into a unity.

00:33:23.740 --> 00:33:28.179 Blaise Kennedy: So this, for me, the teachings, our bodies, our lives.

00:33:28.700 --> 00:33:37.659 Blaise Kennedy: They're all a function and expression of what the universe is just trying to do, which is to merge into a unity. This is its to express itself and to merge into a unity.

00:33:38.120 --> 00:33:46.149 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Beautiful, beautiful. Okay, Blaise, we're going to take a quick break. When we come back, let's talk a bit about

00:33:46.290 --> 00:33:52.439 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: what it is that you actually do today. You know, what is your.

00:33:52.670 --> 00:34:03.859 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: developmental architecture, and maybe you can just give us an example of someone you've worked with as a way of highlighting the kind of work that you do, okay?

00:34:04.070 --> 00:34:04.939 Blaise Kennedy: Would love to.

00:34:05.090 --> 00:34:18.850 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Wonderful. So, everyone, please stay tuned. You're listening to the Conscious Consultant Hour Awakening Humanity. We do this every Wednesday, 12 noon to 1pm Eastern Time, right here on TalkRadio.nyc.

00:34:19.219 --> 00:34:31.109 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And all over social media. And of course, please, if you're listening on the livestream, post your comments, your questions, and we'll be right back with our guest, Blaise Kennedy, in just a moment.

00:35:46.240 --> 00:35:54.359 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: So please, I mean, we've had a good time to talk about your background. Let's talk about like what it is that you do today.

00:35:54.360 --> 00:36:07.310 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: You know, how do you work with people? And maybe, you know, if you can give us an example of someone you've worked with recently and what was the change that happened just to help to to highlight so we can understand.

00:36:08.010 --> 00:36:12.609 Blaise Kennedy: I would start by saying there's many things that I'm seeking to do.

00:36:12.900 --> 00:36:18.339 Blaise Kennedy: I could boil it down to… To… to have an experience?

00:36:18.580 --> 00:36:27.179 Blaise Kennedy: of The nature of the universe and our relationship to it, to know the truth of life itself, experientially.

00:36:28.010 --> 00:36:39.149 Blaise Kennedy: to… To reach our potential as human beings, especially through the completion of

00:36:40.050 --> 00:36:52.530 Blaise Kennedy: the process of incarnating and the process of developing as a human being. For me, these processes in human being are incomplete due to the life conditions that we experience. So, while we are adults.

00:36:52.730 --> 00:36:55.620 Blaise Kennedy: That we don't reflect

00:36:56.380 --> 00:37:11.269 Blaise Kennedy: a complete thriving process. A good way to think about the way that I view human development. It's like a building, and so you could… you could make the metaphor that people live in the top floors of their building, in their adult self.

00:37:11.480 --> 00:37:14.890 Blaise Kennedy: But the structure itself, from its foundation, through its

00:37:15.410 --> 00:37:33.040 Blaise Kennedy: electrical and wiring and plumbing, has not been given the attention that it needs. And because we are the whole building, and not just the top floor, our highest potential, our well-being, is really based upon the structure as an entirety. It's based upon

00:37:33.280 --> 00:37:36.780 Blaise Kennedy: our whole well-being. So when I approach thriving.

00:37:37.080 --> 00:37:45.500 Blaise Kennedy: What I'm looking to see is how can we build a foundation of presence throughout Every layer of you?

00:37:45.650 --> 00:37:57.429 Blaise Kennedy: So that you represent the most full and whole expression of yourself and your ancestors and your world, and through this, you are the most connected, that this is how we actually connect to the world.

00:37:58.050 --> 00:38:05.400 Blaise Kennedy: I think the third thing that I… aim to support is… That…

00:38:07.310 --> 00:38:09.830 Blaise Kennedy: Our world is a… is a…

00:38:11.920 --> 00:38:14.130 Blaise Kennedy: Our Earth is a sort of tragic.

00:38:14.450 --> 00:38:20.960 Blaise Kennedy: and beautiful opportunity. It is a story of a Of a fallen people, and…

00:38:21.490 --> 00:38:27.010 Blaise Kennedy: There's a tremendous repair that is needed, and then it's on 2 levels. It's between us.

00:38:27.700 --> 00:38:34.990 Blaise Kennedy: Again, you described this so beautifully in your preamble. The experience of being connected in community is our… that's our way.

00:38:35.430 --> 00:38:40.439 Blaise Kennedy: and right now on this planet, we experience this episodically.

00:38:40.720 --> 00:38:47.249 Blaise Kennedy: in small doses. And this for me means that the life giving

00:38:47.700 --> 00:38:53.080 Blaise Kennedy: Birthright of human beings is something that we… experience and drips.

00:38:53.650 --> 00:38:58.370 Blaise Kennedy: And I feel very responsible to help the world as a whole.

00:38:58.820 --> 00:39:05.280 Blaise Kennedy: restore the fullness of connection and the fullness of the integrity of the field that we all share.

00:39:05.810 --> 00:39:10.960 Blaise Kennedy: Of course, this is an enormous project. The second thing is, as that happens.

00:39:11.320 --> 00:39:15.419 Blaise Kennedy: kurt: There is a break, there's also been a break between the Earth and the heavens.

00:39:15.890 --> 00:39:22.489 Blaise Kennedy: And the Earth is currently disconnected and fragmented, just like the individual is, from the universe as a whole.

00:39:22.790 --> 00:39:29.999 Blaise Kennedy: And I am also a shepherd or supporter of the integration process between the Earth and the universe.

00:39:30.360 --> 00:39:37.990 Blaise Kennedy: Again, we can get into what that means, but currently, we don't even recognize that there is a universe. We speak of ourselves, and…

00:39:38.520 --> 00:39:41.299 Blaise Kennedy: Live as if we are the only

00:39:41.940 --> 00:39:50.000 Blaise Kennedy: intelligent living species in the entire universe, which is to say how disconnected we are from reality.

00:39:50.200 --> 00:39:51.820 Blaise Kennedy: So these are my three.

00:39:52.290 --> 00:39:59.190 Blaise Kennedy: kind of core intentions. And so how do you do those things? Well, I would like to say that they all

00:39:59.560 --> 00:40:02.289 Blaise Kennedy: run together that actually.

00:40:02.480 --> 00:40:03.230 Blaise Kennedy: The.

00:40:03.580 --> 00:40:19.139 Blaise Kennedy: if all… as we move towards all of these things, they support each other. And I'll give you a really practical example. This isn't just one client, this is many, many, many clients. So, someone will have a meditation practice where they will hear a spiritual teacher say that you need to let go

00:40:19.450 --> 00:40:21.260 Blaise Kennedy: Of what you're holding.

00:40:22.430 --> 00:40:39.070 Blaise Kennedy: Great. So let's say there's many kind of ways to go about doing that meditatively in our personal practice, and people will have some amount of success with that, and they will come to me, and of course they will want to have more success with that. And so my pitch is…

00:40:40.520 --> 00:40:49.640 Blaise Kennedy: Great. I'm so glad that you have the skills to, whatever it is, relax your focus into the experience of being aware, know yourself as spacious awareness.

00:40:49.960 --> 00:41:07.430 Blaise Kennedy: regulate your emotional body through stillness, to be highly motivated to be present, to lean into this deep resource that you have meditatively. My experience is, though, that that doesn't necessarily invite energy to move.

00:41:07.670 --> 00:41:25.309 Blaise Kennedy: We can feel that it does, but much of the energy that we're seeking to let go of, or I would say all of the energy that we're seeking to let go of, is some form of expression which is designed to be received by somewhere else, someone else. It's actually designed to be plugged into life. It's our communication.

00:41:25.530 --> 00:41:32.359 Blaise Kennedy: device. It's what helps us feel connected. So often the meditator is not looking to express themselves.

00:41:32.480 --> 00:41:35.940 Blaise Kennedy: They're not looking to let people know how they feel.

00:41:36.040 --> 00:41:52.869 Blaise Kennedy: And as a result, they're missing half of the equation. The other equation is my sadness, my anger, my fear is not just for me to let go of. It's not some burden that I carry. It's unexpressed.

00:41:53.250 --> 00:42:00.910 Blaise Kennedy: information that someone needs to receive. It's like emails that I'm storing in my draft box.

00:42:01.030 --> 00:42:03.619 Blaise Kennedy: that I want to get rid of.

00:42:03.960 --> 00:42:15.240 Blaise Kennedy: The point of emails, the point of emotion, the point of energy is to flow out into the unified field. Early in life, that happens primarily in relationship with our family.

00:42:15.610 --> 00:42:16.010 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: No.

00:42:16.010 --> 00:42:24.760 Blaise Kennedy: And so the family unit is what essentially gives permission for the child to be alive. So many, many people early in life will

00:42:25.590 --> 00:42:41.019 Blaise Kennedy: will not feel the presence of their family or their caregivers. Those caregivers will not be able to be attuned to their needs, and they will not receive the individuation process in the expression of emotion, like protests and anger and sadness and fear.

00:42:41.230 --> 00:42:46.049 Blaise Kennedy: all the things that a child needs to work through to become a functional human being.

00:42:46.050 --> 00:42:46.400 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: within.

00:42:46.400 --> 00:42:59.929 Blaise Kennedy: With will and personal power and the ability to negotiate, the ability to hold self and other, these skills are formed through the expression of emotion and the holding of that emotion by a container, which is primarily our caregivers.

00:42:59.980 --> 00:43:07.440 Blaise Kennedy: as it as we grow, and in other cultures it's more sophisticated. It could be our extended family, our culture as a whole, our school.

00:43:08.410 --> 00:43:13.209 Blaise Kennedy: My point is is that meditators will sit through.

00:43:14.290 --> 00:43:22.680 Blaise Kennedy: Endless amounts of silence. But what they don't know that they're missing is someone who is willing to feel with them.

00:43:22.680 --> 00:43:23.310 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: as.

00:43:23.310 --> 00:43:30.430 Blaise Kennedy: As soon as you have someone who has the capacity to feel with them, their body changes its tone.

00:43:30.520 --> 00:43:47.130 Blaise Kennedy: It becomes more valuable to express energy than it is to withhold it. Loving, receptive care and the stability of a container of presence that is embodied between you and I is a signal to everything that I'm holding that there is an audience.

00:43:47.350 --> 00:44:01.619 Blaise Kennedy: And as that signal grows in the person who is being cared for, they will make a change in their behavior. Their body is an intelligent organism. So, what I seek to do is to provide people with both.

00:44:02.100 --> 00:44:05.040 Blaise Kennedy: The sort of meditative and present skills.

00:44:05.570 --> 00:44:15.080 Blaise Kennedy: And to have an audience, a caring, loving field that supports them. Because, over time, we will realize, again and again and again, my energy

00:44:15.080 --> 00:44:27.249 Blaise Kennedy: is designed to be given back to the universe. It's not… it's not that I get rid of my imperfections, or I get rid of my… Right. Right. It's that I give it back to this field. I give it back to the Earth. It's like composting.

00:44:27.250 --> 00:44:36.819 Blaise Kennedy: My energy is not bad or wrong. The issue is the state that it's living in. It's living in a disconnected, unreceived, unexpressed state.

00:44:36.930 --> 00:44:43.330 Blaise Kennedy: And what I find over and over again is that meditation does not access

00:44:43.420 --> 00:44:53.110 Blaise Kennedy: The things that need to be seen and move, and does not create the disconfirming experiences that we need to have relationally to really turn on.

00:44:53.140 --> 00:45:04.690 Blaise Kennedy: this organism. So the idea primarily, and I'll pause in a second, for meditation teachers, is meditation is going to create a breakthrough that's going to create some sort of chain reaction.

00:45:04.720 --> 00:45:09.669 Blaise Kennedy: that's going to create an emptying of self? And I say yes, in part.

00:45:09.790 --> 00:45:21.079 Blaise Kennedy: Now, while we're meditating, what if we also just cared for each other? What if we didn't choose between the two? What if we had a system that honored both the profundity

00:45:21.130 --> 00:45:32.690 Blaise Kennedy: of presence and silence and spaciousness and all of the skill, but we're able to bring that into the world. This is essentially the integration that I see happening in the universe between Eastern.

00:45:33.040 --> 00:45:37.680 Blaise Kennedy: more meditative or contemplative practices in our Western world with our

00:45:38.150 --> 00:45:51.859 Blaise Kennedy: Tremendous, care for our parents and our… the harm that has been caused socially, and all the things that we see and feel and feel responsible are happening between us, or that have happened to us.

00:45:52.610 --> 00:45:53.220 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: No.

00:45:53.810 --> 00:46:12.229 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: I relate so much to it, because I… you know, being an energy healer for many years, and I used to… people would come and say, oh, I need to release, I need to get rid of this energy, this feeling, and I would… I was always kind of go along with it, but in recent years, I realized, you know what?

00:46:12.580 --> 00:46:19.789 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: We never truly release it. I don't believe in quote-unquote releasing energy or releasing feelings, we metabolize it.

00:46:20.010 --> 00:46:29.940 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Because the experiences we've been through that cause those feelings, they always are gonna be with us. They always live inside of us.

00:46:30.050 --> 00:46:38.680 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: It's just when we metabolize the emotional charge around it, then they don't control us anymore. They may inform

00:46:38.840 --> 00:46:42.409 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: How we show up, who we are, the choices we make.

00:46:42.580 --> 00:46:52.440 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: But they don't control us. And so when people say, oh, I need to get rid of this feeling, I have a tendency to kind of stop them and say, well.

00:46:52.620 --> 00:47:01.389 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Instead of getting rid of it, because getting rid of it is like you're pushing against it, which, when you push against something, it only resists you, it's stronger.

00:47:01.660 --> 00:47:08.940 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Like, let's hold it, let's give it space, let's have some compassion for it, and let's allow…

00:47:09.220 --> 00:47:28.549 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: the nervous system to process it in whatever way it needs to process it, and not say, like, oh, I'm going to get rid of this, it's never going to be a part of me again, but to recognize, like, no, this is a part of me, and it will always be a part of me, but that doesn't mean it has to

00:47:28.970 --> 00:47:38.510 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Control me, it doesn't mean it has to always feel this way, it doesn't mean I always have to carry it as pain, but I can but I carry it as history.

00:47:40.860 --> 00:47:48.989 Blaise Kennedy: Build on what you're saying exactly, and moreover, is it, I mean, of course we would want to not be in pain, I think that's.

00:47:48.990 --> 00:47:49.600 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Right.

00:47:49.730 --> 00:47:53.610 Blaise Kennedy: This is not the… this is not what we're criticizing, but

00:47:54.150 --> 00:47:57.710 Blaise Kennedy: When, as we metabolize pain, not only

00:47:58.290 --> 00:48:08.920 Blaise Kennedy: does it change state and stay with us as you're saying it becomes our wisdom and our love and our capacity and our understanding. So for just a really practical example, my

00:48:10.280 --> 00:48:15.240 Blaise Kennedy: young. One of my daughters got frustrated the other day about one of her toys not working.

00:48:15.520 --> 00:48:26.559 Blaise Kennedy: And so it's very common in our world for adults who are not embodied, who have not developed their will centers, for example, to look at children and say.

00:48:26.790 --> 00:48:27.519 Blaise Kennedy: All right.

00:48:27.820 --> 00:48:36.000 Blaise Kennedy: I don't essentially don't do that. How do we know? How do we know how to relate to children? We know how to relate to children because we have been there.

00:48:36.330 --> 00:48:44.439 Blaise Kennedy: Because I have processed the experience of being frustrated before. And so when I look at you, I say, yes.

00:48:44.980 --> 00:48:49.289 Blaise Kennedy: I see where you are, and my body is essentially sharing

00:48:49.640 --> 00:49:06.589 Blaise Kennedy: the future with you. I'm receiving you where you are, and I'm holding you, and I'm saying yes, and I'm creating a map towards your maturity and future, which says that if you honor your feelings, and you relax, and you share them with me, and you slow down, and we work together.

00:49:06.770 --> 00:49:11.760 Blaise Kennedy: This frustration will turn into personal power. And it's okay. You're doing great.

00:49:12.150 --> 00:49:16.630 Blaise Kennedy: It's really not about this toy, it's actually about your development as a whole.

00:49:17.060 --> 00:49:28.529 Blaise Kennedy: And frustration is a really powerful energy, and something that's very hard to hold. If you're a child, you're essentially overflowing with this energy when it happens. You don't have a container for it. How do I know that?

00:49:28.710 --> 00:49:44.469 Blaise Kennedy: Because it happened to me, and I integrated in me. And how do I know it? Because I can see it's happening to you, because I'm feeling you with my body that's holding this. So, how do I do my work as a healer? My… my way is not so much to teach people practices.

00:49:44.470 --> 00:49:51.230 Blaise Kennedy: My way is to help us all develop our container so that we can feel each other.

00:49:51.860 --> 00:49:52.600 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: And.

00:49:52.600 --> 00:50:05.169 Blaise Kennedy: My job as a teacher, or as a healer, especially when it comes to trauma, is to have such a broad spectrum of integrated experience in me that when something comes to me.

00:50:05.340 --> 00:50:12.190 Blaise Kennedy: I… I can relate to it. I can feel it with you. I'm not missing the receptor site.

00:50:12.620 --> 00:50:13.230 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Right.

00:50:13.230 --> 00:50:22.439 Blaise Kennedy: I have that receptor site. I have the receptor site for shame and grief and anger and sadness, because that's what metabolized energy looks like.

00:50:22.630 --> 00:50:26.380 Blaise Kennedy: Is essentially a place in me that can receive you.

00:50:26.530 --> 00:50:34.520 Blaise Kennedy: And so, on one hand, yes, I'm trying to work through my pain, because I don't want to be in pain. But as we go on, we realize.

00:50:34.660 --> 00:50:53.329 Blaise Kennedy: it's really about us, right? It's about the system as a whole. It's not just about me needing to work through my pain, it's about the system as a whole getting healthy. Now, when I was earlier in my process, I would have really under-emphasized that. I would have really over-emphasized. It's about me getting healthy.

00:50:53.330 --> 00:51:10.009 Blaise Kennedy: But then I realized, like, the me that was unhealthy, the me that was harmed, that was not awake, was a function and product and expression of the entire world that I am partaking in. And my healing and my well-being is not confined to myself. There is no such thing as a personal

00:51:10.200 --> 00:51:14.309 Blaise Kennedy: healing and well-being. There really only is collective healing and well-being.

00:51:14.430 --> 00:51:20.269 Blaise Kennedy: And so, when we metabolize this, when we are able to do this, we then find

00:51:20.400 --> 00:51:24.549 Blaise Kennedy: our usefulness and function in our society. It helps inform our position.

00:51:25.090 --> 00:51:26.699 Blaise Kennedy: So, what I…

00:51:26.800 --> 00:51:34.430 Blaise Kennedy: really aim to do is to create communities that know this and that can support each other. Now, I have people that have worked with me

00:51:35.310 --> 00:51:51.600 Blaise Kennedy: that worked with me, like, 5 years ago that still talk and practice together. Why? Because, just like you shared in the preamble, they have a shared experience, they have a shared sense of safety, but beyond that, they actually have relational skill. They can function

00:51:51.640 --> 00:52:01.360 Blaise Kennedy: as therapists, because they have the skills that essentially I was trained as a therapist. They have the skills of a trauma therapist, and when they practice.

00:52:01.650 --> 00:52:11.749 Blaise Kennedy: They are in a deep state of meditation. And so I've… what I've tried to use together is service to others, service to self.

00:52:11.890 --> 00:52:16.360 Blaise Kennedy: Access to more subtle dimensions of consciousness and

00:52:16.690 --> 00:52:31.090 Blaise Kennedy: deep states of presence and openness, and to say, these actually are designed to coexist. They're not different things. Being a meditator is not different from being a parent. It's not different from being a

00:52:31.090 --> 00:52:44.229 Blaise Kennedy: a neighbor. They're, like, they're one living system that's trying to converge. It's trying to have a healthy humanity. So I want to give people skills where they can put all these pieces together. And there's more pieces. This is just one.

00:52:44.230 --> 00:52:44.750 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Yeah.

00:52:44.750 --> 00:52:46.139 Blaise Kennedy: layer of focus.

00:52:47.330 --> 00:53:00.899 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: The world today, many people would say, is so polarized. There's so much chaos, so much change going on. The rate of change is increasing every day.

00:53:01.100 --> 00:53:05.289 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: I imagine people come to you and, and

00:53:05.910 --> 00:53:08.650 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: I'm sure there must be people who are, like.

00:53:09.140 --> 00:53:14.180 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: what's going on? I don't know how to deal with this. I don't know how to regulate this.

00:53:14.490 --> 00:53:17.490 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: How do you work with them to help them to.

00:53:17.700 --> 00:53:23.699 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: To be able to embody who they are amidst this, this.

00:53:24.040 --> 00:53:27.309 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: wave of change that's all around us.

00:53:29.060 --> 00:53:48.800 Blaise Kennedy: Great question. So, again, you asked me, what do I actually do? And you introduced developmental architecture. I'll try and weave in a really practical example. So, first skill, again, you would learn this if you went to a Vipassana retreat, you'd learn it in a different way, perhaps. You'd learn it in many schools of meditation. The first thing that we need to do

00:53:48.890 --> 00:53:50.570 Blaise Kennedy: That I invite that we do.

00:53:50.880 --> 00:53:52.810 Blaise Kennedy: is we slow down.

00:53:54.290 --> 00:53:56.509 Blaise Kennedy: We sink into our bodies.

00:53:57.760 --> 00:54:04.449 Blaise Kennedy: We learn how to soften into the structure of our body and also the content of our body.

00:54:05.430 --> 00:54:08.390 Blaise Kennedy: And then we learn how to feel that we are here together.

00:54:09.510 --> 00:54:15.140 Blaise Kennedy: So we slow down, we sink into our body, we soften into what we're feeling.

00:54:15.550 --> 00:54:21.350 Blaise Kennedy: and then we extend our presence. We open our focus to feel what's happening all around.

00:54:21.640 --> 00:54:26.109 Blaise Kennedy: Now, when people first start working with me often. That's

00:54:26.380 --> 00:54:30.360 Blaise Kennedy: a lot, or somewhat unclear like, what is it that we are doing?

00:54:30.470 --> 00:54:41.870 Blaise Kennedy: What what does it mean to do that? What it actually means to me is to plug myself into the unified field or into the universe that we are all sharing.

00:54:42.240 --> 00:54:50.710 Blaise Kennedy: I'm trying to ground myself in every direction, so that I am merged with life. This is the

00:54:50.790 --> 00:55:02.540 Blaise Kennedy: end goal. Now, as we do this, if we hold this practice, if we hold this kind of focus together, if we learn how to do this progressively, and then we start to target, or.

00:55:03.280 --> 00:55:04.360 Blaise Kennedy: Talk about.

00:55:04.970 --> 00:55:08.409 Blaise Kennedy: Many of the primary developmental themes in our life.

00:55:09.190 --> 00:55:11.350 Blaise Kennedy: Our body will give us information.

00:55:11.830 --> 00:55:14.260 Blaise Kennedy: That information can be

00:55:14.610 --> 00:55:23.300 Blaise Kennedy: recognized much of what we most of what we have experienced in this life, especially which is traumatic, is out of our consciousness. We're not aware of.

00:55:24.110 --> 00:55:29.199 Blaise Kennedy: We can start to feel what has happened to us in our life.

00:55:29.820 --> 00:55:34.880 Blaise Kennedy: We can begin to integrate that into our present and present moment. So it's now.

00:55:35.340 --> 00:55:38.520 Blaise Kennedy: And we can learn to express that into the field.

00:55:38.780 --> 00:55:47.399 Blaise Kennedy: what this create, what this is like for me is again turning the body into a building of a

00:55:47.650 --> 00:55:56.629 Blaise Kennedy: a temple of presence, so that everything in me, the structure from the beginning of my life up until now, is presence.

00:55:57.100 --> 00:56:13.429 Blaise Kennedy: Again, people will often say to me, well, I don't remember what happened to me early in life. I don't have any memory. For me, what that means is actually I'm disconnected from my body. So it means I don't feel my body. My body is the sum total of everything that has happened to me beyond that.

00:56:13.870 --> 00:56:16.370 Blaise Kennedy: My body is the sum total of human history.

00:56:16.680 --> 00:56:22.999 Blaise Kennedy: Beyond that my body is a sum total of the universe. But we have to start somewhere. So we start

00:56:23.240 --> 00:56:37.450 Blaise Kennedy: at the level of understanding my developmental history. And this is especially important when you have a community, because people get triggered all the time. And it's very important, like, the immune system within the individual and in the collective.

00:56:37.600 --> 00:56:38.520 Blaise Kennedy: is…

00:56:39.040 --> 00:56:48.789 Blaise Kennedy: to be able to see, like, why… what is actually happening when I get triggered. And if you don't create that mechanism in a community.

00:56:49.460 --> 00:56:51.910 Blaise Kennedy: It's like you don't build in…

00:56:52.090 --> 00:57:11.349 Blaise Kennedy: an immune system. You don't build in a safeguard against all the thing that happens. From the very beginning, it's very important to me that we all have a recognition, that we begin to own and know our whole history, and how it is showing up now, how it affects us, how we defend against it, how we have managed this life.

00:57:11.350 --> 00:57:25.790 Blaise Kennedy: and to do so in the most affirming way possible. This is very, very important to understand. Everything that I've ever done is intelligent. It's not that there's no wrong in any of this. This is the brilliance and beauty of

00:57:25.810 --> 00:57:28.050 Blaise Kennedy: of consciousness of God, of its…

00:57:28.080 --> 00:57:31.579 Blaise Kennedy: of the response to the conditions that are here.

00:57:31.770 --> 00:57:35.630 Blaise Kennedy: If we can create an environment that's really intelligent and responsive.

00:57:35.960 --> 00:57:38.969 Blaise Kennedy: Your body consciousness will be empowered.

00:57:39.540 --> 00:57:45.160 Blaise Kennedy: to make better choices, to move towards its highest potential. I'll give you a really good example. We've been looking at

00:57:45.490 --> 00:57:52.619 Blaise Kennedy: having needs, or what you might call second chakra issues in a group that I said, and I took them through in the last 3 weeks.

00:57:53.340 --> 00:57:56.890 Blaise Kennedy: How do your needs live in you now? What is your relationship to your needs?

00:57:56.890 --> 00:57:57.420 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Hmm.

00:57:57.420 --> 00:57:58.640 Blaise Kennedy: Present time in your life.

00:57:59.040 --> 00:58:11.270 Blaise Kennedy: People connect to their body and begin to go, yeah, how do I hold my needs? And we listen and share together, and people are wildly impacted by the sharing of others and wildly impacted by how they're received. They come to life.

00:58:11.440 --> 00:58:14.000 Blaise Kennedy: And then I asked them, how…

00:58:14.570 --> 00:58:17.740 Blaise Kennedy: How is how are your needs met early in your life?

00:58:17.910 --> 00:58:23.090 Blaise Kennedy: How is how is the present informed by the past, and people begin to able to feel

00:58:23.690 --> 00:58:32.089 Blaise Kennedy: Their past and they share it and again they're wildly impacted by the sharing of others and by the expression and how they're received.

00:58:32.560 --> 00:58:39.610 Blaise Kennedy: And then today, after this, I'm going to ask them, given this, and I'm speaking to your body, what do you need?

00:58:40.180 --> 00:58:44.500 Blaise Kennedy: What do you need? What does your body need? And it will tell us.

00:58:45.120 --> 00:58:46.540 Blaise Kennedy: Because it knows.

00:58:46.890 --> 00:58:58.279 Blaise Kennedy: because it is wildly more intelligent than we give it credit for. And so if we can create this environment that basically says, I want to hear what life is like for you. Tell me what happened and what do you need?

00:58:58.280 --> 00:59:10.710 Blaise Kennedy: at every level of development for every person at a childhood level, at an ancestral level, at a soul level. If we can really see and feel each other, we can meet each other's needs means we can work together.

00:59:10.990 --> 00:59:15.579 Blaise Kennedy: And if we then develop the presence, we can offer.

00:59:16.110 --> 00:59:25.290 Blaise Kennedy: healing impulses and responses to each other. We can… we can love each other, we can have… we can be touched, we can… we can…

00:59:25.580 --> 00:59:29.149 Blaise Kennedy: cry sympathetically, we can be

00:59:29.640 --> 00:59:39.399 Blaise Kennedy: Reflect the beauty of people, their courage, their… it's in this environment where there's a profound honesty and a profound sharing, and experientially.

00:59:40.130 --> 00:59:49.200 Blaise Kennedy: that I believe that healing is most essential. Again, the conditions for healing are natural, because that kind of environment is the human way.

00:59:49.710 --> 00:59:50.220 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Yes.

00:59:50.220 --> 00:59:55.129 Blaise Kennedy: That's actually… this is actually what is true about us.

00:59:55.130 --> 00:59:55.720 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Yeah.

00:59:55.720 --> 01:00:01.580 Blaise Kennedy: What we do. But it's fundamentally what is good for us in the way that we are created to live.

01:00:01.750 --> 01:00:15.470 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Well, Blaise, I could talk with you for hours. We're very much on the same wavelength. Unfortunately, we have run out of time. If anybody listening wants to learn more about you.

01:00:15.570 --> 01:00:19.280 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Learn about your work, where can they go online to find you?

01:00:19.530 --> 01:00:21.769 Blaise Kennedy: Well, first, BlaiseKennedy.com.

01:00:21.910 --> 01:00:33.280 Blaise Kennedy: I think in the show notes to this, we will have a link that's personalized to this program, and it'll show you the things that I do and the ways that you can connect with my work, but that will be on BlaiseKennedy.com.

01:00:33.660 --> 01:00:38.920 Blaise Kennedy: I work with people one-on-one and in groups, and I… I have free programs that.

01:00:40.790 --> 01:00:45.389 Blaise Kennedy: all over the place. And I I mean focusing on very different aspects of

01:00:45.700 --> 01:00:53.430 Blaise Kennedy: of awakening and healing. And finally, I run free meditations. And I have a Youtube channel with content on it.

01:00:54.430 --> 01:01:00.259 Blaise Kennedy: And. Wonderful. Yeah, you might. Someday you might hear me on talk radio. And why so? See more coming.

01:01:01.140 --> 01:01:09.180 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Blaise, thank you so much. It's been a pleasure having you on the show. I appreciate you taking time out of your schedule to come on and share your wisdom.

01:01:09.430 --> 01:01:11.319 Blaise Kennedy: Yeah, blessings to you and your listeners.

01:01:11.570 --> 01:01:19.179 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Thank you. And of course, thank you, my loyal listeners, for tuning in, especially Jacinta, who I see has been commenting on LinkedIn.

01:01:19.210 --> 01:01:35.279 Sam Liebowitz | The Conscious Consultant: Without you, there is no show, and don't forget, if you did miss any part of today's show, you can always catch the replay on TalkRadio.nyc or on your favorite podcasting platform, Apple, Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, Amazon, wherever you listen to podcasts.
