Holistic Pain Management with Dr. Hal Blatman, Founder of the Blatman Pain Therapeutics and a specialist in treating myofascial pain. He tells us how to throw away the Tylenol and Avoid Knee & Hip replacements. Tips on how to turn your life around and live Pain Free by living a healthy and Active lifestyle!

Segment 1:

Denise starts the show off by introducing her guest for the evening, Dr. Hal Blatman, Founder of the Blatman Pain Therapeutics and a specialist in treating myofascial pain. Hal begins by discussing how is practice started and what goes into it. He mentions that he is not totally Paleo, but does send some of his patients down that road and has a list of specific foods for his patients to try. Hal goes on to discuss his background and how he got to where he is today.

Hal shares his rules when it comes to treating patients and the steps that he takes. Denise asks what he would do with a knee replacement, Hal says that if you can still move your knee then there is no possible way your knee is bone on bone no matter what it looks like on the x-ray. Therefore, he would wear it out more slowly and save your knees for when you want to use them and find a way to grow cartilage faster using creams. Through his own experience with using these methods Hal states that after 6 months he was pain free and back on the tennis court. Moving on to hips, according to Hal hips are a harder case and he goes to steam cells much more quickly then he would with knees.

Segment 2:

Segment 2 starts off with Denise and Hal continuing their conversation on how to treat myofascial pain. Hal explains his method of Needle Therapy, he takes two ounces of blood from the arm and creates plasma that he can put back into his patients. Denise asks how Hal gets the stem cells from the body, and Hal mentions that he will make a phone call and order an umbilical cord and extract the stem cells from there. For back pain Hal goes through an exam to determine where the pain is coming from, which he finds comes from the glute muscles. From there he would use a rubber ball to massage the knots and once those muscles relax the pain will start to go away.

Segment 3:

Hal begins the segment further explaining his rubber ball method. If you press harder on the knots the more you will be able to get rid of them. Hal explains how he went from a traditional doctor to a holistic doctor. He realized that the answers he was looking for in traditional practice so he wanted to go out and research new and innovative ways to treat pain. Hal goes on to discuss the immune system and how to beef up the system to help fight of viruses.

Segment 4:

The most common thing that people come to Hal for are headaches, back pain, and joint pain. When it comes to heart issues Hal uses stem cell research and bone marrow to help treat patients. When trying to save joint Hal explains that it is essential to grow cartilage faster. Before the end of the show Hal points out his meal therapy, which is also a method that helps heal joint pain.
