Understanding how difficult it would be to compete with a major chain like Jersey Mike’s or even family sandwich shops, TJ opted to take his expertise and appeal his enterprise, Cheesesteak Louie’s, freshly sliced ribeye cheesesteaks, to a previously untapped market in Seaside, by the Jersey shore.
The success of the first location already gave TJ the privilege to think ‘franchising’ in the near future, but TJ claims that it is passion for food that continues to bring people, and smiles, flowing through his doors. “You just need 3 to 4 great menu items done (exceptionally) well.”
