This week on Voices of Courage, Ken D. Foster is joined by Debra Poneman, a best-selling author, founder of Yes to Success Seminars, and a true pioneer in the world of transformation that has shared her system to help individuals live lives of not only success and abundance but true happiness and deep inner fulfillment, to discuss how we can awaken our intuitive truth and tune into the best version of ourselves.
Debra discusses awakening our inner silence and living our inner truth in order to truly love ourselves and manifest happiness, abundance, and success in every area of our lives.
Ken opens the show by describing the different types of truth, such as objective or relative truth, and then explaining the origins of truth. He discusses the difference between logical truth and intuitive truth, the latter Ken describing as wisdom. Ken then explains the importance of ‘stillness’ or isolation that is necessary in order to find this wisdom.
Ken introduces the guest of the show Debra Poneman. The two go back and forth about attending seminars, books, before Ken starts to delve into Debra’s past and how she entered the spiritual development journey. Debra starts at teaching transcendental meditation at 18 and discusses her journey rising in the world of TM and her jump to Los Angeles. She informs listeners why she’s persevered where others haven’t and explains how to let your ideas sprout and blossom.
Debra continues explaining how to manifest your dreams and describes for listeners the concept of the ‘humility mask’. She challenges listeners to get out of their comfort zones and to face what you’re afraid of, overcoming the fear and finding out the threat wasn’t real at all. Debra looks back at a moment in her adolescence, explaining to listeners how she discovered a true sense of empathy and spirituality. Ken asks Debra about the truth of success, Debra explaining what success really is and what the worst disease really is. Debra discusses the importance of keeping your integrity, loving yourself, courage, and finding true success.
Debra talks about a near-death experience she had back in 2014, describing an ethereal moment in what she believed would be her deathbed. Debra ends the show by teaching listeners how to empower themselves and be delicate in how they use their words. Debra gives out her website and contact information for listeners.
