[NEW EPISODE] Following The Spark

This week, on The Conscious Consultant Hour, Sam is joined by International Meditation Teacher, Nandar Matari.

Nandar is a mediation coach with 28 years of proven mediation experience. She was born and raised in Myanmar (Burma), where she learned Vipassana mindfulness meditation. Later in her career, as a consultant and sales manager in financial services, she was trained in Neuro Linguistic Programming techniques to improve her own personality for better performance. Over time, she began to train her fellow team members, leading to her being named Best Team Leader in the company in 2011.

Nandar was born and raised in Myanmar (Burma), where she started learning and practicing the precious ancient methods of mindfulness and meditations from many Buddhist monks and masters. She worked in different careers as English Teacher in Myanmar, Financial Consultant and later as a Sales Manager and Recruiting Specialist in Germany.

In spite of her great professional successes, she did not feel fulfilled and she decided to follow her passion of teaching meditations since 2014.

After further study in mind, body and spirit correlations and energy healing, Nandar began to understand the healing, spontaneous change and quantum shifts that occur when people get in touch with their own souls and begin seeing their feelings and emotions from a higher perspective. Out of her background, experience and studies, she has developed a series of powerful meditations which can transform your life in a short period of time.

She has created different forms of guided meditations and taught to a couple of thousand people in groups and individual settings in Frankfurt, New York City, Myanmar, Singapore and Zurich in the past 8 years. She is currently living in Zurich, Switzerland.

Show Notes

Segment 1

Sam begins the podcast reading an excerpt from his book “Everyday Awakening: You Are More Powerful Than You Know.” The passage focuses on our tendencies that focus too much on doing, and how we must rather focus on being. Sam finds that when we take the time to focus on what we want to BE, what we want to DO becomes increasingly more obvious. He warns that a persistent focus on doing can become a trap, hooking us on pursuing the next goal, the next thing to do, But if all we focus on is what to be, then are we actually DOING anything? Harmony is the key, and Sam reiterates that it takes time to master this flow, but the reward is very worth it

Segment 2

Returning from the break Sam asks Nandar more about her life after studying meditation at the monastery. Nadar’s first meditation experience was in 1993, after this experience instead of following in her parents wishes for her to attend medical school, instead she decided to follow her pursuits in meditation globally, for a short time visiting the Taiwan border region in order to see and experience the tragedies going on there their firsthand. After this she pursued a career as an English teacher, frequently returning to the Buddhist monastery she studied at in her years post high school. After some time Nandar found it imperative to leave Myanmar and the surrounding region due to the increasingly hostile political climate. After some trials in finding where to go and how she would get there, ultimately Nandar left for Germany in 2005. Upon arriving in the country she started the process of establishing herself professionally all over again, now having to learn German and financial consulting at a new company. Nandar cites her time, training, and consistency in meditation as the driving force behind her journey, often finding herself listening to her heart to make decisions regarding the directionality of her career/life path, urging listeners to follow in her steps to achieve the proper balance and understanding of our driving forces that we all need in our lives.

Segment 3

Returning from the break, Sam asks Nandar about her motivations and inspiration behind the efforts of spreading the knowledge of daily meditation and self awareness. Nandar remarks that the process was less associated with any individual incident but rather was the culmination of many realizations and experiences throughout her life, having reached various positions in a field she was less than enthusiastic about and finding that the accomplishments were not fulfilling her need for self awareness. After this process of realizing her unhappiness in her career, Nandar says it was guidance from God that finally gave her the vision of spreading her awareness and skills in meditation to others, it was after following in this goal that she began to feel her own depression and unfulfillment shed away. Sam segues into asking what differences and what benefits can come from various forms of meditation, such as group meditation or solo, and for what kind of people these are ideal for. Nandar explains that each individual person will respond to different forms of meditation with varying levels of success and interaction, and that it is most important for them to find what works for their needs. She does however stress that oftentimes group meditation can better facilitate learning and opening up better than personal pursuits in meditation.

Segment 4

Nandar is currently working on a Book “Following the Spark '' focusing on following each individual person’s inner path and desire, letting it guide them in their lives to where they need to be emotionally, spiritually, professionally, and physically. Her other book “Beyond Limits' 'is about the universal principles that guide our universe, and how we can live our lives in line with these basic principles of life and spirituality. She hopes readers can use these concepts to overcome their limiting thoughts and belief systems, and instead lead a life based on our personal desires. Sam and Nandar go on to talk about how they have found the pandemic has changed the number of people who seek out spiritual guidance, finding that the pandemic has led many people to focus on their own mental state and seek spiritual help. Nandar finds that people oftentimes seek out inner control and stability during difficult times, leading to the influx of people interested in Meditation. Before leaving Nandar urges that anyone interested in learning more about Meditation and her pursuits and methodologies should seek her out on her website; as well as Facebook and Linkedin where listeners can find recordings of her guided meditation as well as other services and resources for meditation and related pursuits.

00:00:54.870 --> 00:01:13.110 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: is actually kind of interesting because I think this one is is perfect for who my guest is today, so let me get to that and then i'll introduce you to my guest shortly so this section of my book is entitled harmony, is when we flow effortlessly from being to do it.

00:01:14.220 --> 00:01:26.190 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Sometimes we focus too much on doing, especially in the western world where productivity is so highly regarded to find balance we must focus on being.

00:01:27.360 --> 00:01:40.260 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Both doing and being have a place in our lives, both are important they're like two sides of the same coin, when we learn to be more of who we are, we can do from a deeper place.

00:01:41.040 --> 00:01:58.620 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: When we take the time to meditate on what it is we want to be what we want to do becomes more obvious when we spend too much time on the doing we get too busy to just be.

00:01:59.490 --> 00:02:11.970 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Yes, we create a lot of things when we focus on the doing we build everything from bridges to social media followings we write books close deals and create new organizations, yet.

00:02:12.870 --> 00:02:33.540 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Doing can become a trap we get hooked on pursuing the next goal, the next accomplishment The next thing to do, it is only when we take a step back to just breathe, that we can see things a little more clearly when we allow ourselves to take a break and just be.

00:02:34.740 --> 00:02:40.530 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Be in nature be with friends and family or just be alone.

00:02:41.790 --> 00:03:02.250 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: We can ask ourselves why are why we are doing all the things we do, we can then look at it as if it is all in alignment with what we are about is are doing fully embodying our being is what we are creating truly an expression of what our essence calls us to.

00:03:03.990 --> 00:03:14.610 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: At the same time, if all we do is focus on how to be, then, do we really accomplish anything, are we bringing some creation into the world from our being.

00:03:15.690 --> 00:03:23.580 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Harmony is achieved when we learn to flow effortlessly from being to doing and from doing to being.

00:03:24.690 --> 00:03:29.160 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: It takes time to master this flow yet isn't it worth it.

00:03:30.270 --> 00:03:37.920 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: So this section I wrote a while ago, I think, mostly because I remember at the time.

00:03:39.480 --> 00:03:43.140 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: I know for myself personally, and I don't know how many of you can relate to this.

00:03:44.700 --> 00:03:52.860 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: But it's so easy for me to get caught up with all the little day to day things and I got to do this and I got to do that and.

00:03:53.130 --> 00:04:03.300 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: You know, got to clean the apartment and rearrange things and change stuff and go go meet this person and do the show and do this and do that and I get too caught up in the Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo.

00:04:05.370 --> 00:04:09.870 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: And I can get lost and not stop and take the time to just sit and be.

00:04:12.540 --> 00:04:13.230 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: and

00:04:14.250 --> 00:04:19.500 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: It really is a practice, it really was something that took me a while to you know what.

00:04:21.090 --> 00:04:29.070 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: I can slow down it's Okay, I can just take some time to be to just sit with myself.

00:04:30.150 --> 00:04:31.410 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: to feel.

00:04:32.760 --> 00:04:34.410 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: what's going on inside.

00:04:35.520 --> 00:04:41.010 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: to feel what's right to feel like what's The next thing to do.

00:04:43.290 --> 00:04:51.090 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: So often, we just rush into the doing we just rushing to the next appointment, we rushed into the thing and I found for myself personally.

00:04:52.380 --> 00:05:08.550 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: One of the greatest gifts for myself, has been just taking a pause just taking a breath, before I start, something before I go to the next, networking event before I have the next phone call before I sit down to write my next blog post.

00:05:09.630 --> 00:05:11.280 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: To just take a breath.

00:05:13.290 --> 00:05:14.760 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: And just Center myself.

00:05:16.890 --> 00:05:20.370 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: And just feel what's going on in here inside.

00:05:22.800 --> 00:05:27.090 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: And then to just allow myself to come forward from that place.

00:05:29.640 --> 00:05:31.530 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: And it's so curious that.

00:05:32.640 --> 00:05:45.210 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: When I actually slow down and take the time to not be rushing around and not be doing so much and just slow down and stop and be.

00:05:46.260 --> 00:05:59.700 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Somehow then when I start doing it flows so much easier it unfold so beautifully the right answer the right thing to say it just comes out of me.

00:06:01.110 --> 00:06:07.920 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: it's it's so interesting how I can get so much more done with so much less effort.

00:06:09.570 --> 00:06:16.380 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: By just taking the time to sort of blind myself up with what wants to come through me.

00:06:18.450 --> 00:06:25.830 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: it's one of my recent lessons and one a attempt to really keep present in my consciousness.

00:06:27.360 --> 00:06:40.110 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Is it's not about me doing something it's about what does like what is the LIFE calling through me what is life want to come through me in the moment.

00:06:41.280 --> 00:06:54.630 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: And if i'm too caught up in the doing doing doing I don't i'm not connected to that, but when I stopped and they slow down and they take a breath and they pause.

00:06:56.430 --> 00:06:59.310 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: And I give a little bit of space.

00:07:00.930 --> 00:07:05.940 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Then I can connect to that thing that wants to be birth through me.

00:07:08.100 --> 00:07:16.710 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: And so what I would say, for this next week, maybe, between now and the next show take a little bit of time to just be.

00:07:17.850 --> 00:07:39.330 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: schedule it put it into your calendar free time time for me time to just be put it in there and guard it very jealously and just do nothing don't watch TV don't be reading the news or reading a book or anything to just sit and be and stare out the window or take a walk.

00:07:40.860 --> 00:07:44.790 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Or do something where you're just with yourself.

00:07:46.410 --> 00:07:48.840 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: And just see what comes up for you.

00:07:50.040 --> 00:08:00.090 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Any ideas any decisions any feelings that maybe are things you should you know potentially paying attention to.

00:08:01.020 --> 00:08:17.760 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: So a wonderful section from my book, everyday awakening oops I forgot to change my background, just to remind you, if you wish to get my book, this is where you get it www dot everyday awakening book calm it's filled with all kinds of.

00:08:18.600 --> 00:08:27.840 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: insights and thoughts as you see, each one of them it's not very long it's it's a you know, a page page and a half, just to help you.

00:08:28.830 --> 00:08:40.200 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: find a place to be you know a little more empowered a little more thoughtful a little more insightful into your own life, so I hope you enjoyed it, as I mentioned perfect perfect.

00:11:00.840 --> 00:11:10.830 Nandar Matari: yeah so I was born and raised in me and muscle memory, the village or a city that I bond is not an a town I would see i'm not I was not one in the city.

00:11:11.160 --> 00:11:27.690 Nandar Matari: So it is a hilly region and I lived in the regeneration House my mother, father it's my grandfather and bought a big house and we live there with like 10 kids and nine adult and it was a great time.

00:11:28.830 --> 00:11:41.850 Nandar Matari: We are in nearby is a lot of poverty there we were under the colony of Virginia, for a long time, and after our independence in 19 8048 and we didn't make.

00:11:42.480 --> 00:11:52.050 Nandar Matari: To the next level democracy, so we were under the military reaching for a long time and lately, since this year February, they also have.

00:11:52.710 --> 00:12:04.890 Nandar Matari: A military cope again and we are under the civil war state, and it is sad but somehow i'm now providing my people back by teaching meditation online as well.

00:12:05.400 --> 00:12:16.230 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Wonderful wonderful yeah I mean you know, sometimes I feel i'm such a spoiled American, although I do like to travel and travel to different places around the world.

00:12:16.710 --> 00:12:25.710 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: it's so easy to forget that there's a lot of places in the world they're literally billions of people who live in places where things are not that stable.

00:12:26.430 --> 00:12:40.170 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Where there's not that much freedom, where you really do have to be careful and where civil war is not that uncommon so I I really appreciate sort of the reminder and giving the reminder.

00:12:41.040 --> 00:12:53.910 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: To our listeners, who are listening from all over the place to really be grateful and really appreciate whatever kind of stability and and and piece that we enjoy in our lives.

00:12:55.230 --> 00:12:58.050 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: So we're going to take a break in a minute i'm just curious.

00:12:59.190 --> 00:13:12.690 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: I know minima is is a very Buddhist country when did you first sort of get introduced to meditation and and first to you know start to meet these these Buddhist monks there.

00:13:13.650 --> 00:13:28.680 Nandar Matari: yeah I heard about meditation like when I was 15 years old young from my physics teacher and I have this calling right away that I will have to try the methods and I got a chance one year afterwards after my high school when I turned 16.

00:13:29.970 --> 00:13:39.090 Nandar Matari: I went to the monastery and I sit down in the industry for 27 days, it was my first retreats and I learned all these meditation it was my beginning.

00:13:39.750 --> 00:13:44.730 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: and which branch of Buddhism, was that monastery or the.

00:13:44.970 --> 00:14:01.140 Nandar Matari: Traditional Cato Barbara ban Buddhist Buddhism, even under the turnover of Buddhism, there are many different types of meditation and different missions, so I started with one of the most popular methods in Myanmar.

00:14:01.530 --> 00:14:11.370 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: um it's interesting that the person who I bought this station from the talk radio dot nyc he ended up becoming a terrified and monk.

00:14:11.730 --> 00:14:23.490 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: And he now I mean he's went back to Australia, where he's originally from, but he was ordained I believe it was in Malaysia and he goes to Thailand and he goes to the forest and meditates for months, at a time.

00:14:24.240 --> 00:14:31.770 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: But I learned something from one of my guests, a number of years ago, he said that in that part of the world in the southeast Asia it's not that uncommon.

00:14:32.070 --> 00:14:38.370 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: For people after high school to go to a monastery for a summer or for a year.

00:14:38.820 --> 00:14:45.300 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: And sort of work with the monks and then come back out and then go on living their life get married and do all kinds of stuff.

00:14:45.720 --> 00:14:52.530 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: And it's interesting because we tend to think of someone becomes a monk it's like you do it for the rest of your life but but it's not necessarily That way, there is it.

00:14:53.040 --> 00:14:56.100 Nandar Matari: not really and we also have like kind of.

00:14:57.240 --> 00:15:01.770 Nandar Matari: ceremony like after our teenagers at the beginning of it mostly the.

00:15:02.400 --> 00:15:10.440 Nandar Matari: The young adults like 12 or 13 this teenagers for the boy, and they must have this experience of getting into the market.

00:15:10.830 --> 00:15:26.130 Nandar Matari: So that is kind of like card from being a boy to a man, so this is the first time of it but um during that time it was 1983 my around that time it was not very frequent that after the high school that people go to the monastery but it becomes.

00:15:26.970 --> 00:15:39.540 Nandar Matari: A thing so like after 1990s, or something that people have this chance show to do wait for the our university at the time they went to serve and also learn about meditation for.

00:15:40.560 --> 00:15:41.490 Nandar Matari: trend right now.

00:15:42.060 --> 00:15:53.130 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Wonderful wonderful okay let's take our first break and when we come back, I would like to learn a little bit more sort of about your path and your journey, you know from becoming sort of a.

00:15:54.120 --> 00:16:01.740 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Successful professional to then like becoming a meditation teacher and deciding like this is really your passion in life okay.

00:18:57.990 --> 00:19:09.330 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: You you you learn about meditation as a teenager but then you kind of start off a normal life right you became an English teacher and then you became other stuff.

00:19:09.780 --> 00:19:17.220 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: How did things sort of progress for you how did you sort of move through them become actually very successful in your professional career.

00:19:18.240 --> 00:19:31.590 Nandar Matari: Thank you very much for asking so um my first meditation experience it wasn't six and 1993 and shortly after that I had a chance to visit a Thai border region.

00:19:32.010 --> 00:19:39.960 Nandar Matari: And I found the different world because the Burma was very poor estate and still is, and.

00:19:40.620 --> 00:19:46.590 Nandar Matari: Then I just decided that I would like to travel the world and see that what kind of war out there.

00:19:46.920 --> 00:20:02.730 Nandar Matari: And then I came back to then my mother plan was to attend to Medical School I said that I know I do not want to become a doctor, because I would like to travel, the wall, so I decided to study English at the university instead of taking.

00:20:03.240 --> 00:20:12.180 Nandar Matari: That Medical School and, later on, I also became an English teacher, because I was very much interested in English so with that meditation practice.

00:20:12.690 --> 00:20:24.450 Nandar Matari: In my daily life and also, I went back to the different monastery one or two times in a year whenever I have the chance, so my consciousness level, and my confidence level become hiding up.

00:20:25.110 --> 00:20:40.710 Nandar Matari: Year by year, and so I I I woke our I make decisions from my own heart from the very beginning, so, even though it was hard, because I have no support from my parents, I also didn't have any relatives at them in in the.

00:20:40.980 --> 00:20:46.080 Nandar Matari: You know, foreign country, so I apply for a different university and also try many things and.

00:20:46.500 --> 00:21:02.490 Nandar Matari: In 19 in 2004 it was I was 27 I got an MBA acceptance in London and fortunately I didn't get the visa so but I decided to get into proceeds my way anyway, and my plan was going to America as a refugee.

00:21:02.880 --> 00:21:05.070 Nandar Matari: But unfortunately I lost all my money.

00:21:05.610 --> 00:21:22.740 Nandar Matari: In a scam in Bangkok, so I worked there shortly as an interpreter but later on, I decided that Okay, I do not want to go back to my home country, because there are a lot of you know, corruption and also killing happening there, so I decided to go to Germany.

00:21:24.240 --> 00:21:37.650 Nandar Matari: With one baggage and 10 years it was in 2005, and so I started my life from all over again learning German later on, I found this company who trained me to become a financial consultant, and so that is the.

00:21:38.220 --> 00:21:49.590 Nandar Matari: That is hot seats and because I really listened to what I really want from my heart, and I have this drive and also confidence out of my own practice of meditation throughout the years.

00:21:50.340 --> 00:22:06.690 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: So it sounds like the meditation that you were practicing really helped you to stay centered and to really pay attention to what's important on the inside, so you were able to more clearly feel and hear like what direction you really want to go in.

00:22:07.020 --> 00:22:07.710 Yes.

00:22:08.880 --> 00:22:12.360 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: i'm curious Do you remember what your very first meditation experience was like.

00:22:13.650 --> 00:22:29.130 Nandar Matari: I still remember, because I was very deep into all this man meditative state, and I have a height some it according to some ideas, then high concentration, so I can literally even see the first step of my old past life.

00:22:29.370 --> 00:22:43.320 Nandar Matari: You know by better about toby that you see all these pictures and I just shut it off, but in 2009 when I was in Germany at the time, and all these ability coming back, so I would say that the first.

00:22:43.890 --> 00:22:53.820 Nandar Matari: State of you know 27 days when I was 16 was very difficult it was also the longest retreat that i've ever had but it's all worth it, because I can really.

00:22:55.110 --> 00:22:59.190 Nandar Matari: Control my mind emotion and thoughts to practicing meditation.

00:23:00.420 --> 00:23:12.630 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: And so, once you started working like as a financial consultant and really started your professional career, did you keep up a regular routine of your meditation practice we still able to do it, what was that, like.

00:23:13.230 --> 00:23:28.470 Nandar Matari: Yes, um I meditate or in the morning, always 10 to 15 minutes, sometimes up to 20 minutes or 30 minutes if I have time so without having any kind of projects, I will be able to survive, I think, and try and.

00:23:29.220 --> 00:23:35.670 Nandar Matari: So it is a kind of I have a very strong morning routines I woke up early in the morning and then I go for a walk or.

00:23:35.850 --> 00:23:47.910 Nandar Matari: I mean jogging and then I listen at the time the audio book when I came back I meditate I take shower and meditate right away, then afterwards I write down my goals and do the oldest stuff so I.

00:23:48.210 --> 00:23:57.660 Nandar Matari: This is the morning routines and also meditating regularly and daily basis and listening to my heart, it also leads me to have all those assets i've had.

00:23:58.920 --> 00:24:02.910 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: So literally would just meditating you know 1520 minutes a day.

00:24:03.360 --> 00:24:14.190 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: is just that that little bit of time because sometimes I feel people feel like oh if i'm going to have a meditation practice if devote an hour in the morning, an hour at night, and like make it a whole big thing.

00:24:14.550 --> 00:24:23.100 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: But it actually can be very simple, it can be very short it doesn't have to be a long big thing I guess the key thing you would say is consistency.

00:24:23.550 --> 00:24:30.000 Nandar Matari: Yes, it is, it is something like meditation itself is a kind of like finding alignment and two men.

00:24:30.210 --> 00:24:46.440 Nandar Matari: Do your own intuition and what is going on with yourself, it is about deeply checking in with yourself how are you feeling, sometimes we also feeling tired sometimes can be feeling lonely whatever that might be meditation I would say is a form of taking shower and clearing our own thoughts.

00:24:47.490 --> 00:24:58.410 Nandar Matari: and also the emotions, it is something like the also taking the stroke of the bicycle if we are not meditating regularly, so we cannot make the correction of our life.

00:24:58.740 --> 00:25:11.070 Nandar Matari: Regular music, in order to say that i'll get i'll meditate once in a week or maybe you wanted a month and Joe will be totally in the wrong direction, that is why meditating every day like five to 10 minutes is much more.

00:25:11.580 --> 00:25:18.300 Nandar Matari: Effective than meditating once in a week for an hour or once in a month in a two hours awesome.

00:25:18.540 --> 00:25:24.810 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: gotcha gotcha gotcha and so i'm curious, you will be your very successful professional.

00:25:25.920 --> 00:25:33.030 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: But you kind of got to that point that I think many of us feel where it just feels hollow it's not really satisfying.

00:25:33.720 --> 00:25:43.500 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Do you remember, like what it was that brought you to be able to make that decision to say you know what I just don't want to do this anymore, I want to teach people meditation.

00:25:44.190 --> 00:25:44.700 yeah.

00:25:46.050 --> 00:25:53.190 Nandar Matari: It is a big shift and transformation, I was totally all these materialistic wall and also.

00:25:53.370 --> 00:26:02.550 Nandar Matari: I was grown up in the N ma in so the one who are successful, is the one who got them in medical doctor or the engineer So when I coming to the.

00:26:02.730 --> 00:26:16.260 Nandar Matari: You know, Western wall, so you must be very successful as a salesperson consultant, and so, so you must have an insurance, you must drive a certain type of car and you must wear certain way, so I was totally i'm also.

00:26:16.680 --> 00:26:31.260 Nandar Matari: How do you call a brainwashed by this pattern of what is success like but with that spiritual development of course I meditate regularly, and on top of it, I also learned different types of meditation from the Hindu traditions and I.

00:26:31.770 --> 00:26:38.880 Nandar Matari: took this man, energy, clean, seeing that birds and also passive aggression, all the spiritual development that i've made.

00:26:39.180 --> 00:26:47.970 Nandar Matari: Throughout the year while I was working as a financial consultant make me more and more in touch with who I really am and I also try to see that world.

00:26:48.240 --> 00:26:54.330 Nandar Matari: That we are like the donkeys chasing after the carrot in front of us and this little going nowhere.

00:26:54.870 --> 00:27:00.480 Nandar Matari: I literally see it, because the more I made this sales they wanted me to get it all these charts written.

00:27:00.840 --> 00:27:08.430 Nandar Matari: list, and then you have to be on top of it and let the people compete with each other, so, then we are in the rat race in.

00:27:08.760 --> 00:27:18.210 Nandar Matari: Trying to compete against each other and to make the profit for the company, so I literally see this war instead in front of my eyes and I see they're not, I do not do that.

00:27:18.570 --> 00:27:30.210 Nandar Matari: Things anymore in because i'm right me climbing up the ladder, but it was a wrong letter and I was, I was brainwashed from the very beginning, so I decided to let it go.

00:27:30.750 --> 00:27:38.070 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: yeah I remember when when somebody told me one time that you know we're so busy climbing up the ladder we don't stop to think if it's.

00:27:38.340 --> 00:27:49.710 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: leaning against the right wall or not or leaning against the wall, we want or not, and so I guess like the meditation helps us to sort of step back and and and feel like.

00:27:50.370 --> 00:27:56.970 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: You know i'm climbing up this ladder, but is it the right ladder and is it leaning against the right wall and Is this really what I want to be doing.

00:27:57.600 --> 00:28:12.030 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Because you have that little you have that break every day, you have that that that sacred time every day to do reflect and just think about and feel into what's going on in your life.

00:28:12.900 --> 00:28:25.740 Nandar Matari: That sure this is also based on regular meditation is also a part of heightening my intuition, but on the other, that different seminars and spirituality seminars that i've taken.

00:28:26.010 --> 00:28:35.760 Nandar Matari: also asked all the time, what is the real longing from your heart, what is the real from a heart, and so it is somehow my real longing is to make.

00:28:36.060 --> 00:28:44.160 Nandar Matari: The people happy and also find a piece all of my journey in itself my mother was a tiger mom she wanted me to be really successful.

00:28:44.340 --> 00:28:54.360 Nandar Matari: So I also found it out that i'm trying to please my mother, by showing different kinds of successful apart actually I was no living my way you want from my heart.

00:28:54.660 --> 00:29:02.640 Nandar Matari: So this meditation itself also come naturally to me when I become a team leader in this financial services company I started teaching them to meditate.

00:29:02.940 --> 00:29:10.350 Nandar Matari: Because I really want people to find this peace and love, even if it is a one minutes five minutes or 10 minutes so.

00:29:10.860 --> 00:29:14.640 Nandar Matari: I would say that the combination of ideally projects and the awakening.

00:29:14.940 --> 00:29:20.400 Nandar Matari: And also healing my inner wounds of my compensation of success is the conversation.

00:29:20.610 --> 00:29:35.220 Nandar Matari: For us to have love from my parents, most of their you know adults out there also the same actually they are not living there alive, but they are trying to please their mother or father or the society around that so that is exactly happening with our world right now.

00:29:35.490 --> 00:29:35.850 Nandar Matari: Where we.

00:29:35.940 --> 00:29:40.470 Nandar Matari: Are right now for us to really think about who we really are and what we really want.

00:29:41.160 --> 00:29:53.940 Nandar Matari: So I would say that that awakening i've made it in 2012, it is not happening to a lot of people and, though, it seemed to be painful it is a very good process and i'm very much excited for the future yeah.

00:29:54.060 --> 00:30:01.800 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Okay cool let's hold it there, for the moment, we need to take another break and when we come back i'm just curious was there anything.

00:30:02.790 --> 00:30:13.140 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: That caused that any specific time or just want to hear about that that when you took that leap when you finally said okay i'm not doing this stuff anymore i'm going to be teaching meditation.

00:30:13.440 --> 00:30:22.680 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: And then, what sort of happened since then, and what it is that you really teach people and and what people can you know you talk about self mastery and we'll get into all that okay.

00:30:23.940 --> 00:30:34.440 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Wonderful so everybody, please stay tuned you're listening to the conscious consultant our awakening humanity and we will be right back with none dormitory right after this.

00:32:42.150 --> 00:32:51.210 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Welcome back to the conscious consultant our awakening humanity so nanda we were talking about how like your meditation really helped you to.

00:32:51.600 --> 00:33:01.710 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: To find what was really important to you and your life and how you really wanted to to give this gift to people, the to show them how they can be happy in their lives, too.

00:33:02.220 --> 00:33:14.880 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: um Do you remember, was there a moment was there a specific incident or was it something just more gradual that happened that brought you, to the point that said i'm done with this professional life, I just wanted to teach meditation and energy healing and that kind of stuff.

00:33:15.810 --> 00:33:27.840 Nandar Matari: yeah, so it is a gradual shift happened with me the first time that I can recall, was on the day of I got achieve the.

00:33:29.520 --> 00:33:33.780 Nandar Matari: mega sorry, this is a team leader and team leader.

00:33:35.400 --> 00:33:45.750 Nandar Matari: How did they call a congress, we are in the Congress and where they are just like they're rewarded, the people who become the team leader, because it is difficult because I have to build on my own teams.

00:33:45.990 --> 00:33:51.300 Nandar Matari: and so on and so I also got some rewards and so to go to the holly do Angela.

00:33:51.870 --> 00:34:11.130 Nandar Matari: And I was on top of the wall, and I say that Okay, I tried to achieve this position for a long time and I finally achieve it, I was on top of this stage and all these lights are shining on me so, then I was also hearing that all these people are applauding us like maybe 5000 or even more.

00:34:11.790 --> 00:34:12.450 Nandar Matari: I was just.

00:34:12.720 --> 00:34:28.110 Nandar Matari: listening and I will just I cannot see them all and I thought that I would be very happy and I will be elated with joy, but on the contrary to it, I felt that I have the last, and I also heard myself saying what am I doing here.

00:34:28.770 --> 00:34:31.710 Nandar Matari: So, then, I after this event.

00:34:31.890 --> 00:34:46.350 Nandar Matari: I felt that okay there's something wrong with me, you know, I was depressed and so on don't even take a break, and I also went to different army vision seminars and so this is the first time, the second time also I achieved this sales manager position.

00:34:47.070 --> 00:35:00.900 Nandar Matari: And after that also achieved this incentive holiday to it it's a cruise five star cruise event and on that cruise instead of enjoying it I got sick.

00:35:02.400 --> 00:35:12.600 Nandar Matari: days, and so it is also there are science in our heart in our from our body from our soul, especially, it is now telling us if we have all these kind of an.

00:35:12.960 --> 00:35:22.590 Nandar Matari: affiliate and ease in our heart or having diseases it's a sign that you have to change something in your life, so I listened to that I pay attention to that.

00:35:22.890 --> 00:35:33.510 Nandar Matari: Then, at the same time, I thought that I was together with that German guy and we will also working together, we have our own team together, and I was also unhappy with their relationship anymore.

00:35:34.020 --> 00:35:42.210 Nandar Matari: But I also decided thing don't know what I have to do, because I was at that time six o'clock here in the Germany and all of the things ourselves.

00:35:42.720 --> 00:35:56.040 Nandar Matari: In a built up with him, but I knew that I just have to leave this relationship, first, and so I left him, it was in May 2012 then afterwards I mean I tried to keep on working with the team and.

00:35:57.150 --> 00:36:01.890 Nandar Matari: it's the constellation of working together with him with your ex that's what.

00:36:03.450 --> 00:36:10.350 Nandar Matari: I was trying to say bye to save by seven at one point I comes to understand that I have to leave this industry also behind.

00:36:10.530 --> 00:36:12.990 Nandar Matari: Because I do not have any more division anymore.

00:36:14.070 --> 00:36:21.210 Nandar Matari: Shortly after that, but it is not coming like right away Okay, I know that, right now, what I need it's a journey so.

00:36:22.470 --> 00:36:28.920 Nandar Matari: You know, do some other odd jobs, you know, and so do survive and thrive during that because it is a provision busy.

00:36:29.220 --> 00:36:38.910 Nandar Matari: So I do not have you know all these regular money or pay to pay my rent so I have to do some of the odd job, and then I took the same position as a recruiter.

00:36:39.660 --> 00:36:59.280 Nandar Matari: It caught also went well and I can sail make a sales, because I do not have any worries or fears to call the people into here, no, but I also know that that is also not my choice so then after like a couple of months also you know, do I make sales they shut down the company branch.

00:36:59.310 --> 00:37:17.760 Nandar Matari: That I was on then, I said that Okay, now it is a time to try something I would just really come from from my heart and you don't have any fears anymore that at that time I was just sitting down in the meditation i'd say us to go, please do God tell me what I should do you know.

00:37:18.810 --> 00:37:32.490 Nandar Matari: When i'm really down on the Nice and ready to listen, I heard that very clear message from God teach people to meditate so I did was in 2014 much and i've been doing, ever since and I never stopped.

00:37:32.760 --> 00:37:48.570 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: wow wonderful wonderful i'm curious when it first when you first started teaching was it easy to find people or did it take a while to sort of build up a following and attract people to you for learning meditation.

00:37:49.980 --> 00:37:58.710 Nandar Matari: I, it was a constant right choice or I would say, because at the first time I hear the message on the.

00:38:00.270 --> 00:38:09.810 Nandar Matari: Tuesday and then I rent a room in on Sundays or a couple of days later, and then I wrote that all my friends on Facebook and for people see that will come.

00:38:10.140 --> 00:38:27.360 Nandar Matari: Because they also know that I meditate and you know I always talk about them, so I was in sales and I also have a huge network, because I will let years and the different organizations and so from the three people they say the calm and from the tree people cake.

00:38:27.750 --> 00:38:30.480 Nandar Matari: So after one half hours of group meditations.

00:38:30.630 --> 00:38:35.280 Nandar Matari: To say that I felt the shift in my heart, and I want to walk one to one with you.

00:38:35.850 --> 00:38:38.670 Nandar Matari: So I have a 2121 clients.

00:38:38.910 --> 00:38:48.780 Nandar Matari: And so from there is like, there are also some lunch In between there are not many clients, but most of the time I have this big group meditation and I want one.

00:38:48.780 --> 00:38:53.040 Nandar Matari: clients and I started that in Frankfurt Germany in 2014.

00:38:53.520 --> 00:38:56.550 Nandar Matari: And later I moved to New York City in 2017 and.

00:38:56.760 --> 00:38:58.320 Nandar Matari: All this journey keep on going.

00:38:58.740 --> 00:39:13.260 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: wow wow amazing amazing i'm curious know this is something that for me i've always found so interesting is the the difference between doing individual meditation by yourself and doing a group meditation.

00:39:14.100 --> 00:39:24.630 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: How would you describe the difference and and Is there something where where there's it's more appropriate to do good meditation or more appropriate to do individual meditation.

00:39:26.610 --> 00:39:42.150 Nandar Matari: It depends on the type of person, but if people feel like meditating in a group they're meditating a group is much more effective and you will also achieved this energy, you know quicker than they learn, one by one.

00:39:42.690 --> 00:39:52.290 Nandar Matari: And the fact is meditation is not only about learning the techniques, it also about copying the energy we have our conscious around us, they call it our aura.

00:39:52.590 --> 00:40:04.800 Nandar Matari: And so, when you meditate it is somehow activating all this energy field around people, so it is something like i'm just giving the fire from my candle to the other candle without losing my life.

00:40:05.280 --> 00:40:14.550 Nandar Matari: So that is why i'm still meditating with my mentors monks and nuns right now via zoom on regular basis, because i'm not hoping, they are.

00:40:15.150 --> 00:40:34.950 Nandar Matari: They are light and their wisdom, from my heart, so that I can also give it back to them, so I would say that both are effective, it also depends on the type of personality, but according to my own experiences meditating in a group is very, very good and people should definitely do it.

00:40:35.970 --> 00:40:47.010 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: I remember hearing a number of years ago that they did a study, I believe it was in Washington DC they got like 400 people together to meditate.

00:40:47.760 --> 00:40:50.280 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: When the weekend that they meditated.

00:40:50.310 --> 00:40:55.110 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: The incidence of violent crime dropped by like 40%.

00:40:55.530 --> 00:41:07.920 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Yes, i'm curious when you hold your group meditations Have you ever noticed either afterwards or around that time that there's been some sort of external shift that correlated to that group meditation.

00:41:09.450 --> 00:41:13.590 Nandar Matari: I didn't notice, because I don't make any kind of research around me.

00:41:13.830 --> 00:41:18.120 Nandar Matari: But I can definitely see that every time after I meditate with a group of.

00:41:18.120 --> 00:41:30.540 Nandar Matari: People in the in I mean it, I have a group meditation right not eight people 10 people do to 30 people for the Burmese people I have right now i'm 45 people in the groups so.

00:41:30.930 --> 00:41:41.010 Nandar Matari: I I feel the shift of the energy right after this 15 minutes guided meditation with that, so the amino calmness all the people also felt the same.

00:41:42.120 --> 00:41:42.570 Nandar Matari: yeah.

00:41:42.630 --> 00:41:52.950 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: So it's more like an individual experience like feeling the individual experience of a shift, as opposed to anything external that you've noticed yeah.

00:41:53.040 --> 00:42:01.920 Nandar Matari: Of course, they also change how they act and also a lot of people um my first clients in the state, he got he.

00:42:02.280 --> 00:42:11.220 Nandar Matari: Is a young teenagers boy got a suicide attempt for two years ago, before he came to be so, nobody can really helped him, he was all did bipolar and.

00:42:11.400 --> 00:42:21.450 Nandar Matari: You know, he was walking with a lot of different psychotherapist and so his mother a case to be wild was volunteering at a monastery in La and she.

00:42:22.350 --> 00:42:29.670 Nandar Matari: asked me if I could help her son, so I started meditating with him around regular basic and after two months, he came out of the room.

00:42:30.030 --> 00:42:38.760 Nandar Matari: And then, after three months, he said that he knows that what you really want in our heart, in other words, is he wants something in his heart, but he.

00:42:39.030 --> 00:42:49.530 Nandar Matari: thought that he has to confirm his family and the society becoming an engineer, and also taking over the restaurant and so on, that make him really heavy in his thought and.

00:42:49.830 --> 00:42:50.910 Nandar Matari: Take this writer.

00:42:51.060 --> 00:42:57.210 Nandar Matari: So after that you know he after nine months later he become totally normal person.

00:42:57.630 --> 00:43:07.980 Nandar Matari: So it is also there are many different types of people were coming to my meditation but sometimes they have unexplainable syndrome of stress and also tumor.

00:43:08.160 --> 00:43:17.220 Nandar Matari: And they also get healed with that and also there are different types of burnout depressions they all get beggar after walking starting period of time with.

00:43:17.940 --> 00:43:21.930 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Wonderful wonderful well it's amazing you've affected so many people.

00:43:23.040 --> 00:43:35.130 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: In your life it's really incredible i've had a number of people come on and they talk about meditation and how it's affected them personally but haven't had too many people were actually meditation teacher so it's great to hear about all of that.

00:46:34.320 --> 00:46:39.870 Nandar Matari: yeah I wrote a book called following the spark, it is an autobiography I was.

00:46:40.470 --> 00:46:50.010 Nandar Matari: Trying to write about the meditation actually, but there are sequence of creation that I also do believe in trust and you just come out my.

00:46:50.430 --> 00:47:01.380 Nandar Matari: journey how I grown up how I also follow my heart and following the spark is falling, the inner fire, so we have this intuition and knowing inside of us that if you really.

00:47:01.740 --> 00:47:10.050 Nandar Matari: follow that we are always on the right path, it is all about it, and the second book that run right me his writing is called beyond limits.

00:47:10.410 --> 00:47:21.690 Nandar Matari: So it is about our universal principle or the spiritual principle that how the universe walk and how we can live Accordingly, it is also beyond the limitation of.

00:47:22.290 --> 00:47:35.760 Nandar Matari: Having a searching cars or materials belonging or doing a searching jobs, it is beyond our limitations of what the society is giving to us so i've been teaching all the spiritual principles, since the beginning of.

00:47:36.060 --> 00:47:44.520 Nandar Matari: I started this in 2014 my career, but while I started in the group coaching things and 1212 and at.

00:47:46.830 --> 00:47:52.590 Nandar Matari: The pandemic stars all these people came to me as one to one I couldn't handle them anymore.

00:47:52.830 --> 00:48:04.980 Nandar Matari: And I decided to do this, eight week groups meditation because I also saw that after eight weeks consecutive weeks or meditation all these people also change their behavior pattern change all the people who has.

00:48:05.220 --> 00:48:13.020 Nandar Matari: You know that young guy who got this this item came out of the you know the room after eight weeks, you know they're also.

00:48:13.410 --> 00:48:31.020 Nandar Matari: scientific fact about meditation after eight weeks of consecutive type of meditation the people normally change the approved for their context and also the limbic brain, so that is why I know started I finished a so far 883 groups meditation.

00:48:32.190 --> 00:48:38.010 Nandar Matari: from last year August 2020 and two so far and i'm not writing the ninth group.

00:48:38.490 --> 00:48:48.750 Nandar Matari: So I taught this a good group 98 weeks a group meditations in three languages, English, German and bernice and I saw that how the people change and.

00:48:49.020 --> 00:48:56.820 Nandar Matari: Totally and so that is why right now i'm writing about that book and teaching all these eight spiritual principles and how the universe work.

00:48:57.060 --> 00:49:06.540 Nandar Matari: And how we can really overcome our limiting thoughts and beliefs and really create a life, which is also very much coherence with our heart desires yeah.

00:49:06.630 --> 00:49:08.820 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: yeah absolutely absolutely.

00:49:10.320 --> 00:49:14.700 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: there's no doubt in my mind that this pandemic has been.

00:49:15.990 --> 00:49:22.920 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Not just an opportunity because we've all had to spend a lot more time with ourselves, but it really sort of.

00:49:24.870 --> 00:49:41.310 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: heightened the necessity for learning to be okay with being with ourselves, have you noticed over the past year that like more people are open to the idea of meditation have more people been drawn to you, or is it just kind of been moving along the way it was before.

00:49:42.060 --> 00:49:48.480 Nandar Matari: More people are now open to the meditation for sure, a lot of people also started with your guy is also fine because.

00:49:48.780 --> 00:49:56.160 Nandar Matari: Other people who are very much active and all the time that you're going itself is a form of meditation there are four types of meditation.

00:49:56.370 --> 00:50:02.430 Nandar Matari: Like the body meditation I Chi gong and TAI Chi yoga and the second type is concentration on the.

00:50:02.730 --> 00:50:14.970 Nandar Matari: transcendental meditation reciting something of visualization so but right now, what the people need is actually emotional meditation because a lot of people do not know how to deal with your own emotion, so this is.

00:50:15.570 --> 00:50:24.750 Nandar Matari: breath work, and I also teach this emotional meditation to, and then the fourth type is wisdom meditation do understand understand how the universe work.

00:50:25.050 --> 00:50:28.350 Nandar Matari: How our minds and our thoughts work because a lot of people.

00:50:28.710 --> 00:50:43.680 Nandar Matari: think that because i'm thinking that thoughts, it must be my thoughts and I belong to this talk, or what I the way I was feeling that feelings, it must be my and so that people have now building up a lot of self hatred and also hatred.

00:50:44.370 --> 00:50:55.260 Nandar Matari: Hatred to other people and the real deal is the whole wall is burning the whole one is now suffering and having all these depression, so how the people could come out with.

00:50:55.590 --> 00:51:07.140 Nandar Matari: Good thoughts all the time, but so meditation is also the wisdom itself is learning that we are not our thoughts, we are not our emotions and we are beyond that.

00:51:07.590 --> 00:51:20.370 Nandar Matari: Our physical button and all these thoughts and emotions, so that is why, right now, a lot of people are open to learn about meditation and to also really anchor their stem cell all this turbulence and chaotic time yeah.

00:51:20.430 --> 00:51:37.620 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: yeah and it's definitely needed more than ever before, with everything that's happening just we don't know week to week month to month day to day like what's going to happen and where we're going um you also teach a course on self mastery what is that about.

00:51:38.400 --> 00:51:41.670 Nandar Matari: That is the first step mastery course is all about.

00:51:42.180 --> 00:51:54.870 Nandar Matari: Is a spiritual principles and how the University of work and i'm also writing a book about it, this is a self mastery level what it is about master our self mastery our feelings thoughts and emotion.

00:51:55.470 --> 00:52:00.960 Nandar Matari: And the second level is I call it self mastery level to this is the second level I also teach.

00:52:01.290 --> 00:52:07.950 Nandar Matari: about how the people interrelated with each other and how to master our relationship publish see.

00:52:08.130 --> 00:52:19.620 Nandar Matari: The world view and what we are seeing outside is the other form of who we are, so this is also a different spiritual principle and the mindset that the people can really master the relationship.

00:52:19.980 --> 00:52:25.380 Nandar Matari: For the month of mastery Level three is all about becoming a meditation teacher, I we started doing.

00:52:26.010 --> 00:52:44.760 Nandar Matari: Next year, from this year alone, I finished three self mastery Level two as well, that is a three months class and I, the first level is all about each spiritual principle how the universe works and how to master ourselves second level is I teach 10 habits spiritual habits that we should.

00:52:46.050 --> 00:52:53.460 Nandar Matari: integrate in our lives to master our relationships and of course this level three is all about becoming a meditation teacher.

00:52:55.080 --> 00:52:57.450 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Beautiful beautiful um.

00:52:58.740 --> 00:53:09.930 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: um you know, sometimes people feel that like when we've achieved a certain level of awareness or self mastery that, like everything in life is fine, we were we don't have any stress or anything.

00:53:10.590 --> 00:53:18.240 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: What challenges you today, like, with your practice and with doing everything you're doing what kinds of challenges show up for you today.

00:53:20.490 --> 00:53:34.080 Nandar Matari: My challenges right now is not to be over over excessive with the development of my students or my clients, because I have this tendency, I would like to over gift.

00:53:34.380 --> 00:53:39.900 Nandar Matari: Or, I wanted to show the way that they will need to know before they are ready to learn for it.

00:53:40.260 --> 00:53:40.800 Nandar Matari: I mean it's.

00:53:40.890 --> 00:53:43.860 Nandar Matari: Something like everything in life, we need times to grow.

00:53:44.130 --> 00:53:53.490 Nandar Matari: And so, when I have seen that myself, I just have to draw myself back and even the people who are now suffering or me taking a lot of suicide right now in Switzerland you.

00:53:53.730 --> 00:54:10.110 Nandar Matari: And Europe, especially maybe all over the wall and I was really suffering, sometimes, and I really will actually help them and show them, you know how you can come out of the old mine tract, but in reality is that Am I not responsible for anyone.

00:54:10.290 --> 00:54:25.410 Nandar Matari: Around myself so with that I right now my challenge is all about bringing myself back to my Center because my enlightenment or my peace and love is the things that I can help to the world.

00:54:25.920 --> 00:54:27.810 Nandar Matari: But if i'm the fire, I can.

00:54:27.930 --> 00:54:36.450 Nandar Matari: spread them want to the people around me if I am a water, I can spread that coolness to other people around me, so it is.

00:54:36.630 --> 00:54:52.350 Nandar Matari: All about it, even if the enlightened enlightened people suffer because it is the part of life that you are like the heart rate we all go upside down, but my challenges also you know to Center myself in my love and to peace every day.

00:54:52.830 --> 00:54:56.010 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: yeah yeah yeah I think that's the sort of.

00:54:57.540 --> 00:55:03.990 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: No matter how advanced we get in our practices are and what we do that still that.

00:55:05.610 --> 00:55:14.340 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Staying present to what's going on inside of US staying centered every day, keeping to our practice and learning to come from a place of.

00:55:14.790 --> 00:55:25.380 Sam Liebowitz, The Conscious Consultant: Seeing the world is perfect and just giving people the support they need and not trying to fix things and not trying to to carry people that that's always a challenge for us.

00:55:25.680 --> 00:55:37.620 Nandar Matari: yeah that's for sure, at the same time that our regular practice of meditation is very important, and now right now meditating with one hour in a day and so with either.

00:55:38.190 --> 00:55:43.740 Nandar Matari: A very experienced meditators from yet ma I was also the disciple of searching.

00:55:44.100 --> 00:55:55.410 Nandar Matari: master and the meditation master and they also reach a certain level of wisdom so i'm learning from them every day, so I also meditate on my own like 30 to 4040 minutes in.

00:55:56.190 --> 00:56:01.950 Nandar Matari: With this group of people so by having that my support and like minded community is very important.

00:56:02.250 --> 00:56:14.070 Nandar Matari: Because we couldn't make a low so that is why it is also my goal to you know I have my group of people who are also enlightened and what also meditate regularly I meditate with them every day.

00:56:14.370 --> 00:56:15.900 Nandar Matari: so that I can stay.
