[EPISODE]  Healing The Heart Through Storytelling

Have you ever struggled to move beyond a painful event or past hurt? Do you find it therapeutic to journal when you're upset? Are you curious about how storytelling can empower you to live a life of bliss?  Well, you're in luck! This Wednesday I will be interviewing a special guest, Diana Raab - Author award-winning author, poet, essayist, blogger, and educator. Come along as we explore how writing is a transformational tool to Nourish the Soul and change the way you think and feel about your life. We ALL have a story tell... She'll be kicking off this month's theme: Healing the Heart Through Storytelling.  Diana believes, "by documenting the story of your life, you have the chance to relive, examine, and reconstruct your lived experiences in a way that can be empowering. By working through your life, you are able to draw a certain amount of energy from what you have been through, reconcile yourself with your experiences, and then move forward." How would you like to set yourself free from your past? Storytelling helps us understand ourselves better and to find our commonality with others. Come ready to learn about Diana's latest book Writing for Bliss: A Seven-Step Plan for Telling Your Story and Transforming Your Life and how her work can change your life! For centuries stories have served as windows into human experience as they connect us to a larger self and universal truths.  Let's allow ourselves to go deeper with our understanding of who we are as we set an intention this Wednesday evening - to find a thread of connection to the Universe and what we have come to this Earth journey to learn through story. Phone lines will be open for Q&A with Diana and a chance to win something special for those who call in from Nourish the Soul -> 877-480-4120 In Diana's 40-year career, she has written thousands of articles and poems and is the editor of two anthologies, Writers on the Edge and Writers and Their Notebooks.
